A. Curriculum Highlights
Online Academic Classes
One of the highlights for the month of July, was the start of the online classes for our
little toddlers –Nursery and Prep. The children were very excited to connect with their
teachers, especially nursery. Due to the pandemic, these children never got the
opportunity to see their school or class or the teacher. Along with the academic classes,
we also started with music classes, both Indian and Western for the children.
B. School Events
Van Mahotsav
An online assembly was conducted to celebrate Van Mahotsav. Students of classes 4 and
5 along with the staff members, were part of this assembly. The assembly started with
the prayer – Swayam Vidhata , post which Ms. Priti Arun spoke about the significance of
Van Mahotsav. The assembly ended with an informative video being shown to all. This is
the first time we had an online assembly and the children enjoyed being part of it.
As part of the Van Mahotsav celebrations, the school conducted an eco-friendly project
where the children of classes IV and V were asked to plant seeds and saplings in their
homes and click a picture of themselves (dressed in green) along with their little plants
and send to the school. These pictures were them compiled digitally to make a musical
video with the song "Ek Paudha Hum Lagayen, Ek Paudha Tum", sung by the music
teacher.
