Issue no. 4 Investor Education Program (IEP) conducted on 11th January 2016 for VI Sem B.Com Students on behalf of BSE-IPF, on Capital Market Awareness, Introduction to Mutual Fund & Financial Planning by Mr.AlokChhajer, Certified Financial Planner . Ethnic day program took place in the auditorium on 13th January 2016. Students dressed in their respective ethnic wear, girls in different styles of saris and boys in dhotis and kurtas. The program included a dance performance and fashion show to select Mr and Ms Best Dressed, which was won by Jahangir of VISem BCOM and Ujjwala of II Sem BCA. V Sem BBM/B.Com/ BCA Global students went for an Educational Tour to China along with Kasturi Nagar students from 15th-22nd January 2016. The college commemorated the unforgettable sacrifice of ShaheedHemuKalani on his 73rd death anniversary on 21st January 2016. Students gathered on the occasion observed two minutes of silence remembering the great martyr. The College Cricket (Boys) team participated in the Inter College Cricket Tournament organized by the Bangalore University at Central College Ground on 23rd January 2016 and won the match against Noble College of Management by 50 runs in the first round match. Amogha Rahul of IV BBA scored a century. Debate Event, TARANG 2016 conducted in on 2nd February 2016 Chanakya Seminar Hall, NHC. A Guest Lecture was conducted on the topic "Financial Planning- Road to Financial Security" on 2nd February by Ms.MonicaMalkani, Certified Financial Planner, representing Stock Market Insitutute for IV SemB.Com and BBA students.

Creative Writing &Photoverse event, TARANG 2016, conducted in Basement, on 3rd February 2016, NHC. The College Cricket (Boys) team participated in the Inter College Cricket Tournament organized by the Bangalore University at Central College on 5th February 2016 and won against Kongadiyappa College, Doddabalapura by 5 wickets in the second round match. Business Expo's Beyond Frontiers-Diverstiy Unified -Round 1-Power Point Presentation, was organized on 5th February 2016 and was judged by Dr.PratimaKhandelwal HOD-Basic Science, NHCE. Solo Singing &Streetplay Event, TARANG 2016, conducted in Chanakya Seminar Hall, on 8th February 2016, NHC. Solo Dance & Cooking without fire Event, TARANG 2016, conducted on 9th February 2016, in Basement, NHC. Wealth out of Waste Event, TARANG 2016 conducted on 10th February 2016 in Basement, NHC. NHCE, Dr. Aradhana Reddy and MsKareenaAnand faculty members, Department of MBA, NHCE. Best Manager Event, TARANG 2016, conducted on 15th-16th February 2016 in Chanakya Seminar Hall, NHC. Tharun S II Sem BCA student participated in Bangalore Open Karate Championship in Senior Men Category from 15th-17th February 2016 and won Bronze Medal held at Kanteerva Indoor Stadium. Beyond Frontiers - Diversity Unified Round 3- Countries recreated, was organized on 19th February 2016 and judged by Mr. Wong Mu Lin, a Malaysian resident of India with a wide experience of more than a decade in the field of academics and a passionate traveler across the globe, and Mrs. Zehra a specialist in the field of Management Studies with 22 years of teaching and 12 years as assistant Chartered Accountant in well reputed firm. The first position was secured by by France (IV BBA EG), China (IV BCOM PG) and Malaysia (II BBA -ASec) were the runners-up. Tejus R, II Sem BBA student secured first place in Kick Boxing in National level held at the Head Quarters of the National Sports Federation for the sport of Amateur Muaythai MTI(R) from 20nd-21st February 2016.

A talk was organized regarding market research project on 22nd February 2016 by Mr.G.Seshadri who is currently working as Quality head of AZ Research Partners Pvt.LTd. for IV Sem MBA students. A Guest Lecture was conducted on the topic ""Financial Education for Young Investors" on 23rd February 2016 by Mr.HariVasudevan a resource person from SEBI highlighted on the basic concepts of income, savings & expenditure and topics of Consumer price index and wholesale price index for II and IV sem MBA students. Workhop conducted on 29th February 2016 byMr.Uday, Asst. Professor- MBA-NHCE, regarding Statistical Package for Social Science a common software used in Corporate and gave a detailed explanation as in how SPSS is a modified version of Ms-Excel for IV Sem MBA Students. Annual Sports Day was conducted on 4th March 2016 and inagurated by Mr.Steve Vijay Lazarus former Under-19 Indian Cricket Player. International Women's Day Celebrated on 8th March 2016. Dr.Reena Jain, an in house student counselor addressed the girl students of BBA, B.Com and BCA. She touched upon various concerns of practical importance such as love and infatuation, interpersonal relationship, co-habitation, abstinence, abortion, homosexualtiy,

physcialhygiene, rape and so on with the help of power point presentation. 12th march 2016 - PT Meeting was organised for BBA/BBM, BCA & B.COM Students Mr.NagarajuKilari, Head of the Department, BCA received Best Paper award for this paper, "The Performance of N-S Architecture to Mitigate DDOS Attack in Class Environment" in the 10th INDIA Com-2016 International Conference held in BharatiVidyapeeth Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM) from March 16-18 2016 in New Delhi. A one-day National level Conference on "Ideas for Sustainable India (Innovations Developments, Endeavours, Achievements & Strategies) " was held on 18th march 2016. The Chief Guest was Mr.Raghuraman, Senior Vice President Mphasis and Technical Speaker M.Rajeev Management Consultant and Academician. A Blood Donation Camp was held on 23rd March 2016 at NHC in Association with Lions Club, wherein 101 units were donated. This was observed as a tribute to ShaheedHemuKalani. IV Semester students of B.Com(Global), BBA (Professional & Global) & BCA (Global) went for National Educational Tour to Goa from 18th-22nd April 2016. Uday Kumar G (VI-BBM Professional) won Stockmind season 4, the largest country wide competition for college students educating them on stock market investments on 28th April 2016. The competition was held in 599 colleges with 181238 participants between 14th August 2015 to 22 March 2016. Graduation Day Celebrated for 2013 Batch of BBM, B.Com & BCA Students on 3rd May 2016.
