WELCOME!

We extend a warm welcome to all who have come to

worship and fellowship with us this morning. If you are

a first time visitor with us, please take time to fill out a

“Welcome Card” located in the pew rack and place it in

the offering plate.  Parents of small children (under age 3) may take them

to our Nursery, where a caring staff will supervise them.

We also have a Pre-School Program (ages 3-5) that runs

during our Worship Service in the Church Time Pre-

School Room. One of our ushers would be happy to

help you locate either one of these facilities.

Elementary School children are invited to take part in

our KidZone program which starts after the first part of

our Worship Service downstairs in the Vestry.

News & Events

Convention Prayer Link

Pray for our larger Baptist family across Canada (Canadian

Baptists of Ontario & Quebec, Union D'églises Baptistes

Françaises au Canada, and Canadian Baptists of WesternCanada), and our work through Canadian Baptist

Ministries as well as the Baptist World Alliance. Together

we seek to impact our world with the love of Jesus Christ.

Our Prayer Initiative

We are invited to join together in prayer for one another.

As we move through our fellowship alphabetically, look for

your name to appear. If it doesn't, please let Peter know,

for we wish to be in prayer for YOU. This week, please be

in prayer for: Reynold & Sandra MacKenzie, Earnest &

Sandra MacKinnon, Beryl MacKinnon, Keith & Pearl

MacKinnon, and James, Jane, Andrew & Alexander

MacLaren.

Anniversary Congratulations

Congratulations to Mike & Gertrud Drebot who are

celebrating 54 years of marriage on November 16th, to

Willard & Shirley Hubley who are celebrating 67 years of

marriage on November 18th, and to Wally & Bernice

Graham who are celebrating 56 years of marriage on

November 19th

.

Thank You

Thanks for all of your calls, cards, visits and especially

your prayers during my recovery from recent surgery. My

church family at Bedford Baptist is a continual source of

blessing to me, and I hope to be back worshipping

regularly with you soon. God bless,

Elaine Melanson

News & Events (Cont’d.)

Greetings From India

Rev. Ida called and left word that she and Kathy are doing

well on their short term mission trip to India. They are both

appreciating the opportunity that God has given to them asthey minister to about 100 women every day from 9:00 in

the morning until 8:00 at night. Please continue to

remember them in your prayers as well as Marlene

Knowles who is in Bolivia.

Special Baptism Service

We will be holding a special baptism service for Don

Mosher on Sunday, November 27th. Because of Don’s

condition, we do not plan to fill up the baptismal tank.

However, if you are feeling the Lord’s call upon your life to

enter the waters of baptism, please speak to one of our

pastors and we would be happy to make the appropriate

arrangements.

Thank You

The Missions Committee would like to thank those people

who came out and supported the Tea and Sale. We raised

$360.00 for our future International Missions projects. We

also wish to thank the Friendship Circle for supporting the

project by supplying items and operating the sale

table. The Muriel Bent WMS group provided unbelievabledesserts. We are hoping this will be an annual event so

those who attended may wish to spread the news next

year. Thanks again everyone for coming together for such

a good cause.

Church Treasurer

The Nominating Committee is seeking a Church

Treasurer. If you have been blessed with the gift of

financial expertise and would like to serve the Lord in this

area please call Sharon Higgins @865-2680.

being held Sunday, Nov 27th.

We will be serving up adelicious spaghetti supper in

lieu of the usual spaghetti

social scheduled for that day.

We’d like to have some desserts to finish off that

delectable meal. If you are able to provide a dessert (of

your choosing!) please contact Dianne Cox

([email protected] or 865-6101). Bon appétit!

Membership Amendment

A special business meeting will be held on Saturday,

December 3rd for our members to vote on  the proposed

in prayer. Deacons will be available to contact, if you have

any questions, between now and the meeting. Also, if you

need transportation to the meeting, call the Church Office.

in its annual project  of supplying

Christmas boxes for those in need.

Hopeful Gifts for Change 2011

If you would like to a make a charitable offering that will

truly make a positive change in our world, then “Hopeful

Gifts For Change” is a great option! Through our own

Canadian Baptist Ministries worldwide outreach you can

give a gift in someone’s honour of health, livelihood,

education or transformation. You can rest assured that

these gifts will be given as directed and be delivered in a

thoughtful and Christ-like manner. Over the past two years

we’ve been able to donate over $5500 in gifts that are

really making a difference in impoverished third world

countries and we’d certainly like to see that trend continuethis year. Please see the Missions committee or Nancy

Ohsberg if you have any questions. See the poster in the

lobby and feel free to take a copy of the catalogue home.

There will be someone in the lobby to assist you with this

after service on the weeks of Nov 20 th, 27th, Dec 4th & 11th.

This may be done here directly or by mail or internet:
