EducationThe committee met in April at the Chamber office to finalize the Excellence in Education Banquet for Tuesday, May 1st at the KCI Expo Center. Last year’s banquet had nearly 800 participants. It is the biggest celebration of education in the state of Missouri. The NRCC Education committee, chaired by Jennifer Buckmaster and Tina Zubeck, have collected all applications and the winners have been finalized for the Excellence in Education Banquet. We are thrilled to once again have Citizens Bank & Trust serve as the corporate sponsor for this event. Great job Education committee!Leadership NorthlandLeadership Northland 2012 completed their 8-month program and celebrated their graduation on March 8th. This is the 18th Leadership Northland class for NRCC. The graduation ceremony was highlighed by program speaker, Zel Fisher, Missouri Supreme Court Judge. Congratulations to the Class of 2012. Applications for the 2013 class will be in the June NRCC newsletter. The 2013 class will be limited to 28-30 individuals and begins in August 2012. The class is filling up. Now for the graduates and alumni of Leadership Northland, keep in mind that the Leadership Northland committee will begin meeting in July at the Chamber office.Youth LeadershipYouth Leadership had their last session of their 4-month program on Tuesday, April 17th. Their half-day session was followed by our Chamber monthly luncheon, where youth leadership participants graduated. Congratulations Class of 2012!
