A B O U TThe NWPGP 2021 Australian Grain Storage and

Protection Conference is an open forum for the entire

grains industry to review and discuss the latest

market requirements relating to chemical regulations

and developments in grain storage and protection.

The NWPGP has been meeting annuallyfor over 45 years, however, the annualconference, delegate list and industryrepresentation continues to expand andevolve – constantly striving to meet industry’sneeds.

D E L E G A T E P R O F I L EA wide spectrum of the industry is represented at the conferencewith over 130 delegates in attendance in 2019. The conference nowenjoys significant support from all sectors of the industry fromgrowers, storage operators, end users, traders, research, productand chemical manufacturers and service providers such asfumigators and transport operators. This conference is also widelysupported by the government.

The program and topics are being expanded in line with thisdevelopment and in direct response to survey feedback receivedfrom previous conference attendees.

The National Working Party on Grain Protection (NWPGP) is thebody responsible for providing management and leadership to industryin the areas of grain storage, chemical use, market requirements andchemical regulations.

The Conference is proudly supported by Grain Trade Australia (GTA).GTA supplies standardised grain trading standards, trade rules, graincontracts and training and development for the Australian grain industryto enable the efficient facilitation of trade across the grain supply chain.
