PROGRAM INTRODUCTION
T-TAP Training:
Since 1988, the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Prevention & Control’s Training and Technical Assistance
Program (T-TAP) has conducted professional training and capacity building activities for clinical
and non-clinical staff at health departments, hospitals, clinics and community-based
organizations (CBOs) that provide HIV testing, prevention, and care services. Through
education and training of providers, T-TAP strives to decrease the transmission of HIV in New
York City and to improve care for those persons living with HIV.
Our Mission:
The T-TAP mission is to provide comprehensive training and technical assistance to support NYC
service providers in their HIV-related work. We fulfill our mission through the dissemination
and development of evidence-based curricula, skills transfer, and organizational capacity
development.

HOW TO CREATE A LEARNER PROFILE
First time registrants, please follow the steps below to successfully complete the initial
registration process. (Already registered? Sign-in with your user name and password at
https://nychealthtraining.litmos.com, then see HOW TO REGISTER FOR A COURSE on page 8.)
STEP 1: Visit the T-TAP Registration Page at https://nychealthtraining.org/training/. Under the
“Announcement” section on the left-hand side, click the “Create an account here” button.

STEP 2: Enter your information into the T-TAP registration system, accordingly.
STEP 3: Once all registration questions are complete, click the “Submit” button.

STEP 4: The following message will appear to confirm that you have successfully submitted
your registration form. An automated confirmation email will then be sent to your email
address from NYC Health Training.
Please note: This automated email may filter directly to your SPAM/JUNK/CLUTTER mailbox. If
you do not receive an automated message, be sure to check the corresponding mailbox.
STEP 5: Sign-in to your e-mail account and click the link within that message. Follow the link to
complete your registration.

STEP 6: Confirm your user name and create a password.
Please Note: Your password must contain 1 upper case letter; 1 lower case letter; 1 number
and 1 special character. Your username should be the email address listed when completing the
registration form.
STEP 7: After confirming your user name and creating a password, click the “Continue” button
at the bottom of the page.
STEP 8: Upon being automatically routed to the NYC Health Training learning platform, select
“Course Library” on the left-hand side of the page to get started.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A COURSE
STEP 1: Visit nychealthtraining.litmos.com and sign-in with your user name and password.
STEP 2: From the NYC Health Training learner platform homepage, select the “Course Library”
link on the left-hand side of the page to get started.
STEP 3: Upon entering the course library you will see a list of available courses. Select the
course for which you intend to register.

STEP 4: Once on the course page, click the “Start this course” button on the right-hand side of
the page.
STEP 5: Select the date for which you intend to attend the course, and click the “Register”
button on the corresponding line.

STEP 6: Once registered, you will receive an alert toward the top of the page that notifies you
of your registration. Additionally, there will be an option for you to click the “Download
Calendar” button on the right-hand side of the page, in which an invite for you to add the
course to your calendar will download.
STEP 7: Once registered, you will receive an automated email from NYC Health Training with
the subject line “Session Registered.” This email serves as confirmation of registration
confirmation, and will also include a course calendar invite.

you do not receive an automated message, be sure to check the corresponding mailbox.

HOW TO UNREGISTER FROM A COURSE
STEP 1: Login to your NYC Health Training account at nychealthtraining.litmos.com.
STEP 2: Select the “Not Started” tab near the center of the page, and select the course for
which you wish to unregister.

STEP 3: Select the “In Person Training” session.
STEP 4: Click the “Unregister from Session” button to successful unregister from the training.
STEP 5: Click the “Exit” button to return to your Home Page.

HOW TO ACCESS CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION
STEP 1: Login to your NYC Health Training account at nychealthtraining.litmos.com.
STEP 2: From the home page, select the “Achievements” link on the left-hand side of the page.

STEP 3: From the Achievements page, click the “Download My Certificate” button.
Please Note: Once the document downloads, a PDF icon will appear at the bottom left-hand
corner of your screen. You will then be able to print and/or save your certificate using your
browser functions.
