BARTHOLOMEW PARISH TRIP TO THE SHRINE OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL The Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal sits in the heart of Philadelphia and provides a peaceful sanctuary for prayer, meditation, and pilgrimage. Filled with Marian artwork, traditional stained glass, and stunning altars, the Shrine is a fitting home for Our Lady. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will enjoy leisure time in the heart of the Historical District of Philadelphia to see some of the historic sites, including the Liberty Bell.

We strongly encourage everyone to look for a nearby church and check out their mass schedule – Sunday mass is important. We wish everyone a safe and relaxing time away. As a reminder… Saint Bartholomew Parish relies on your weekly contributions. When you return from your vacation please remember to make up for the Sundays you weren’t here in the collections. CONFIRMATION DAY: We have recently been informed that Bishop Neil Tiederman will be with us on Saturday, October 21st to confer the sacrament of confirmation on our young people. More than 130 candidates will receive the sacrament at the 1:30 p.m. mass on that day. Please keep our young people and their sponsors in your prayers during this special time of preparation.

DÍA DE LA CONFIRMACIÓN: Recientemente se nos ha informado que el obispo Neil Tiederman estará con nosotros el sábado 21 de octubre para conferir el sacramento de la confirmación a nuestros jóvenes. Más de 130 candidatos recibirán el sacramento a la 1:30 p.m. en la misa del dia. Por favor, mantenga a nuestros jóvenes y sus padrinos en sus oraciones durante este tiempo especial de preparación.
