Obituary Cherished Moments“Behold I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment,

in the twinkling of an eye.” 1 Corinthians 15:51

Olivia Shacquella Minter-Lewis was born March 8, 1972 to Wilma L. Henrietta Marable-Minter and the lateElder Doc M. Minter. She went home to be with the LORD on March 6, 2012.

Olivia was married to Tyrone Z. Lewis and to this union three children were born.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Elder Roosevelt P. Conway and united with The Churchof God, Sanctified in Haley, Tennessee. She was a member and Leader of the choir, a member of the Central DistrictChurch of God Choir, Assistant Chairperson of the Culinary Committee, an interior decorator, and a former memberof the New Haley Church of God Drill Team.

“Shack” as she was lovingly called, attended Christiana Elementary School and graduated from Riverdale HighSchool in May of 1990. As a working mother, she held down many jobs. She even made her way to Atlanta,Georgia, where she became employed by Ryder Call Center, and later transferred to a location in Antioch,Tennessee, where she remained a faithful employee, until her death.

She loved her children dearly. She never failed to help them with their homework, always took them shopping, orout for pizza, and made sure they always looked good.

She was very instrumental in helping to meet the needs of her daddy, seeing to his overall welfare and care, nomatter how she felt or how hard she had worked that day.

Olivia was fun, a joy to be around and met no strangers. Her family and friends dearly loved her.

Olivia leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Tyrone Z. Lewis; daughters, Tiara, TySha and T'Ana; mother,Wilma L. Henrietta Minter; siblings, Felicia (Ronnie) Burney, Michael (Robbie) Minter, Patrice L. Minter, Francietta(Victor) Mayberry, and god sister, Detra (Tim) Simpson; mother-in-law, Linda Faye Lewis; sister-in-law, PamelaLewis; namesake aunt, Samella Pinkerton; one great aunt, Mother Pricilla Brown; one great uncle, Willie F.(Frances) Marable; special friends, Yvette Henry and her son, Donzeliah “Dee” Craig, James “Charlie” Johnson, and a host of other family members, church family and friends.

Sometimes the answer is yes,And sometimes the answer is no.

But my time has come,And I must go.

PEACE -
