In a nutshell, the issue involves the transmission of data over broadband networks.

Schools are still grappling with low bandwidth issues. This is especially true in rural areas. For the foreseeable future most 2.0 applications will be used at either home or in urban areas. Nevertheless expect it to become the accepted way of computing in the future.

create a podcast, to listen to one, you don't need to own an iPod, or any portable music player. Podcasting is a new type of online media delivery. You publish AV files to the internet and your users “subscribe” via RSS feed to receive them.
