DISCOVERY TURBO PRESENTS_BBT 2018Big Boys Toys 2018 takes place from 16-18 November at the ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane. This 20th Anniversary Show will be the most dynamic Big Boys Toys yet with some outstanding features and a great entertainment schedule. These features will attract one of the country’s largest show crowds, providing companies with an opportunity to market their products and services to this audience on a face-to-face basis. Over 30,000 potential customers will attend the show from Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and beyond.

Big Boys Toys 2018 will showcase the “latest & greatest” in products and services from the Automotive, Marine, Lifestyle and Consumer Electronics industries.

The show has a growing emphasis on creating a dynamic retail environment for exhibitors with the tagline of - “See It, Like It, Own It” now fully integrated into the show’s marketing. Research states that 75% of visitors have the intention to purchase something at the show (other than food & drink).

A comprehensive Marketing Campaign has been planned the show, encompassing traditional media such as television, print and radio, as well as digital and social media platforms.

– The Driven Hall will be the country’s premier automotive hall with major brands and automotive products.

– A huge Construction Zone will showcase big machinery in an interactive format

– The Lifestyle & Electronics Hall has the latest in laptops, gaming, VR and technology, and a range of lifestyle products.

– The Action Arena will bring together some of the world’s best extreme sport athletes

– An iconic movie car from a classic 1990’s film

– The Garage will be a snapshot of the classic kiwi garage with hot rods, classic cars, tools, machinery, sports gear, home brew and more

– Feature Halls such as the Automania Showcase

– Competitions such as the Auckland Excavator Champs and Auckland Strongman Series

– Electric Vehicle Test Drives

BIG BOYS TOYS2018_OVERVIEWDriven Hall: The Driven Hall at Big Boys Toys is NZ’s premier automotive hall, with top brands, well-presented sites and a VIP Night for the Automotive Industry. This was hosted by D’Arcy Waldegrave in 2017 and attended by over 400 people.

Electric Avenue: The DRIVEN Hall will embrace the EV revolution in 2018 with an Electric Avenue showcasing all things electric. Electric Avenue will be in the top half of the hall and will feature the current products and trends in EV and E-Bikes.

Supercar: A highlight each year is the unveiling of a supercar with past cars including the La Ferrari Aperta, Aston Martin DB11, Ferrari F12 TDF, McLaren P1 and Lamborghini Aventador LP750 SV.

The 2018 show supercar will have even the most ardent automobile lovers in awe!

Action Arena: The Action Arena at Big Boys Toys will bring together some of the world’s finest extreme athletes. Elements being worked on for the 2018 shows include:

– World FMX Superstar – Levi Sherwood – BMX Freestyle – from the best riders in NZ including Jed Mildon & Paul Langlands – FMX Demonstrations – from the NZ best exponents such as Nick Franklin – Stunt Motorcycles – the incredible Kingi Walters on a Harley Davidson – Car Drops – dropping cars from over 50m with TCNZ

BIG BOYS TOYS2018_OVERVIEWBig Boys Toys Garage: ‘The Garage at Big Boys Toys will be a ‘snapshot’ of the classic kiwi garage filled with:

– Amazing hot rods & classic cars – Tools & Machinery – Sports Equipment – Home Brew – Models

Lifestyle & Electronics Hall: Lifestyle items, high quality audio, and the latest in computers, gaming, laptops, VR and technology. The hall will include:

– A Music Zone – A Retail Hub in the bottom half of the hall – Consumer electronics from laptops to virtual reality

Music Zone: Big Boys Toys will host a ‘Music Zone’ in 2018 which will include

– New Instruments – Interactive Displays & Musicians – High Quality Audio

Feature Halls: Big Boys Toys 2018 will host feature halls such as Automania Showcase - a hall filled with special vehicles ranging from race cars to street cars, drift cars to super saloons.

Construction Zone: This will feature the big machinery from the industry, in an interactive format which allows the public to experience the big rigs in action. The CCNZ Auckland Excavator Operator Champs will be part of the Construction Zone. There will also be plenty of kid’s activities such as a mini-dig and truck rides.

Big Boys Toys Bar: The place at Big Boys Toys to catch up with a group of mates and enjoy some refreshments, with a great vantage point overlooking the Action Arena. The bar is an opportunity to launch new products, build awareness and loyalty, and create a great customer experience.

SITE PRICINGAND_OPTIONSAllocation of Sites The allocation of sites comes on a “first in, first served” basis, with site booking’s secured upon payment of the deposit.

Exhibitor Site Payments Site payments are due on the following dates: – 30% Deposit – due 7 days after confirming site – 70% Balance – due 20 September 2018

Sub-letting Subletting of exhibitor sites is not permitted. Sharing of stands must be approved by the show organisers.

All exhibiting companies must be listed on the Exhibitor Confirmation form.
