It will be the 50th episode of the monthly radio programme. In a tweet, Shri Modi said, this month's 'Mann Ki Baat' is special as the programme completes 50 episodes. PM Modi to share his thoughts in 'Mann Ki Baat' programme on Nov 25 Patna, Nov 17 President Shri Ram Nath Kovind has called for encouraging girls to study engineering and lamented fewer enrollments of girls in the institute. He was addressing the convocation of NIT in Patna recently. The President said that none of India's developmental goals will have meaning without equal opportunities for our daughters and girl child. He said if gender disparity is not addressed, scientific achievement would be less than perfect and less than desirable. Earlier in the day, Shri Kovind exhorted students to become an agent of change and contribute to President calls for encouraging girls to study engineering the welfare of the farming community. He was speaking at the first convocation of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University at Pusa in Samastipur. Shri Kovind said students need to continuously innovate to help farmers increase productivity as there is a relative shortage of land and water resources in proportion to the country's population. The mandate of participation is that, the children will carry out a project on a particular topic in relation to theme and sub-theme decided for the year. The theme for the year 2018 is 'Science, technology and innovation for clean, green and healthy nation'. The CSC programme is not only for the school going children, but it is also open for the children outside the formal boundary of schools in the age group of 10 to 17 years (where 10 to 14 years is considered as junior group and 14 + to 17 years as senior group). The Empowered Committee of officers for the Nirbhaya Fund headed by Women and Child Development Over 1000 fast-track special courts to dispose off rape, POCSO cases Secretary approved it. The project has a total financial implication of over 767 crore rupees.
