    Printed electronics is a set of printing methods usedto create

    electrical devices on various substrates. Forexample:- films, ceramics, glass and silicon.

    Electrically functional electronic or optical inks aredeposited on the substrate, creating active or passivedevices, such as thin film transistors or resistors.

    Printed electronics is characterized by simpler andmore cost-effective fabrication of high and lowvolume products.

    electronics.

    Introduction to printable batter

    Printable battery are fabricated Batteries employing

    technology at the Nanoscale.

    These batteries with a Nano-structured lattice at thecathode and anode will allow the battery to recharge at a

    surprising eighty times faster rate than previous batteries.

    It is the latest technology battery developed in 2010, tooflexible, 100-micrometer-thick energy-storage sheets that could

    be molded onto electronics and medical devices or laminatedbeneath flexible solar panels.

    It is not a true battery, instead it is ultra capacitor device thatstores charge on its electrode surfaces.

    BatteryA battery consists of threedifferent layers :1. Anode2. Cathode3. Electrolyte

    In a battery, the cathode refers to the positiveterminal and the anode refers to the negativeterminal.

    It has conventional zinc manganese-dioxide components as anode andcathode.Sandwiched in between, the cell's chemical power source remains a

    closely guardedsecret. Paper power claims the material is non-toxic and non-corrosive,

    making the battery safe to use without casing.

    The solid-state inorganic nature of the battery is the key to itshigh performance.

    Zinc and manganese react with one another and produce

    electricity

    v It weighs less than one gram on the scales.

    v It contains no mercury and is in this respect

    environmentally friendly.

    Its voltage is 1.5 V, which lies within the normal range. Byplacing several batteries in a row, voltages of 3 V, 4.5 V and

    6 V can also be achieved.

    v Its composed of different layers: a zinc anode and a

    manganese cathode, among others. Zinc and manganese

    react with one another and produce electricity.

    v Increasing the shelf life of a battery by using nano-material

    and there is no draw on the battery

    Technically it works like any other battery, but the battery canbe cut into anysize and shape according to the need of our product.

    The battery will be used to power flashing lights and jingles on

    novelty cardsand other promotional products. Examples:- greeting cards and

    mouse pads.
