Quality Assurance/Training

Our QA management team is certified in internationally recognized

food safety standards. All our Distribution Centers have completed

certifications for compliance to SQF Code 7.2. In addition, all Quirch

Distribution Centers operate under strict HACCP plans.

Quirch Foods is also a Tier II validated partner of the US Customs

C-TPAT program.

The QA/QC Department performs food quality and safety inspections

on Quirch Private Label Brands, including:

• Organoleptic evaluation

• Net weight verification, based on NIST standards

• Verification of purchase specifications

• FDA labeling compliance

• Conduct initial plant approval and periodic plants visits

To verify all traceability programs, we perform annual mock recalls.

Quirch Foods products are labeled with a unique serial number

that is traceable from the plant to your store. Lot numbers on every

package extend traceability to consumers’ tables. Quirch Foods has

also partnered with Trace Register® and PakSense® to electronically

trace products and temperatures throughout the supply chain, in

compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act.

The QA/QC Department oversees compliance with domestic and

international legislation for the import and export of food products,

including:

• Compliance with all U.S.FDA and USDA regulations

• Compliance with U.S. Food Drug and Cosmetics (FDC) Act for Labeling

• GFSI Benchmarked Food Safety Certification Audits

• Container loading protocols for C-TPAT Compliance
