============================================================================== Instructions ============================================================================== This patch contains the following unified driver file to be applied with AutoPatch: u8532859.drv (This is the unified driver) ============================================================================== Description ============================================================================== This patch contains generic data fix script ontd0008.sql to cancel a stuck line. This script will help to cancel the stuck lines that cannot BE canceled using the Sales Order form because of data curruption. However, there are limitations and follow-up actions associated with the script that are detailed inside it. Make sure you read and understand them before using the script. THIS SCRIPT MAY BE USED ONLY WHEN SO ADVISED BY ORACLE SUPPORT AND ONLY FOR ORDER LINES FOR WHICH IT WAS SUGGESTED BY ORACLE SUPPORT. It is highly recommended to test this data-fix script in a test database instance that is a close copy of Production. Customers should apply this script in Production only after thorough testing and evaluation of results in the Test instance. The patch merely copies the script into directory $ONT_TOP/patch/115/sql, without running it. Once applying the patch, the script must then be executed from sqlplus as user APPS and the line id to be cancelled as input to it when prompted for. Subject to the above mentioned restrictions, the script may be used on Oracle Applications releases 11.5.x through 12.0.x through 12.1.x.
