Story bagsParents read a book to their children, find the
keywords and fill a bag with physical objects
related to the story so the chidren can later tell the
story. The parents prepare the material with the
children and meet at the kindergarden with all other
parents.

Story factorsPupil transport material in an envelop to tell their parents a story at home. The parents
are the public.

The story treeThe teacher make a tree with the front page of the books that parents have read to
their children. Parents are invited to come and read the stories in their
moterlanguage to all the children.

Plurilingual interactive theaterTheater were the parents participate acting on their own language.
Collecting activityCollect songs, setences or stories around one thema form different countries.
WORKSHOP AT THE ECML
Image BookPictures of objects are taken and a book make with them. The parents will write the
name of the photographied items in the book in their own language.

The traveling masquoteThe masquote is a small animal that the child that is
travelling take with him/her. The masquote send letters to
the classmates in the language of the visited country.
Parents presentationsParents visit the school/kinder and present their language and culture to the pupils.
The teachers prepare the parents for the presentation.

OBSTACLES FOR THIS APPROACH:
In the school it is said that they will only use one language.
Lack of knowledge on the profits of plurilingualism and our work.
No translations because it costs a lot of work.
Don´t know how to proceed with this approach.
Tension between different comunities.
Parents don´t speak the language.

OBSTACLES FOR THIS APPROACH:
Teachers don´t want to involve parents, the curriculum is long enough
Teachers doubt about the ability of parents to teach.
TEACHERS DON´T WANT THE CHILDREN TO SPEAK ARABIC AT
SCHOOL ....... BUT ENGLISH IS OK
