1. Teach GOOD ENGLISH2. Knowing the English Language Marking Scheme

is a bonus to AID you in teaching GOODENGLISH and not to teach ENGLISH FOR EXAMS



TIPS FOR GOOD TEACHING



Very Important!

Pupils should:

NEVER shade two answers for the same question. No marks will be

given even if one of the chosen answers is the correct answer!

Erase an answer to be changed carefully so as not to be detected ashaving two answers to the same question.

Tips For Pupils

Pupils should have a basic command of the English language.

Basic grammar *

A minimum range of vocabulary** Use the correct use of subject-verb agreements.

Spell words correctly.

Keep a ‘V-Bank ’ exercise book to write down good tips, new / difficultwords, interesting phrases and sentences.

Have a simple English grammar reference book
