3 idiotsEntre los muchos accesos que permite la In-ternet, el que ms apreciamos los cinfilos es el acceso a pelculas que nunca llegan a las salas nacionales. No se trata de que sean gra-tis, se trata de que son excelentes cintas que no pueden encontrarse ni en los videoclubs. Para abrir esta seccin elegimos 3 idiots, pelcula india que combina drama y comedia para inmiscuirse de manera fresca en un tema tan antiguo como la vocacin y las decisiones sobre qu hacer en la vida. La historia es pro-tagonizada por 3 compaeros de universidad, uno de los cuales tiene la inteligencia no slo para destacar en clases, sino tambin para darse cuenta de qu es lo mejor para sus amigos. Guin, esttica y fotografa han sido alabadas por la crtica, en esta obra de ms de dos horas y media, pero con una historia que provoca inters constante (incluyendo las tpicas escenas estilo musical de los filmes de Bo-llywood). 3 idiotsWithin the many differnt freedoms that the Internet allows, one of the most apprecia-ted ones for the cinema fans is the acces to films that never make it to chilean cinema rooms. It is not the fact that these films are free, it is about excellent films that cant be found in film rental shops. To start up with this section, we chose an Indian film called "3 Idiots". This film combines drama with comedy, in order to approach issues such as vocation and decision making throughout life in a fresh and entertaining way. The story is about 3 university mates, one of whom is clever enough not only for his own studies, but also to realise whats best for his mates lives too. In a story that goes over 2 hours, the script, aesthetics and photography have been acclaimed by the critics, where the story raises constant interest (including the typical Bollywood musical style parts). Bailando con Barry (2008) Thomas Borch Mielsen , 79' Gusanos bailando en una disco es el concepto que encontr el director dans Thomas Borch Nielsen, quin se aventura con esta divertida propuesta llena de color y msica. La cinta nos muestra a Barry, un gusano de tierra que odia estar hasta el final de la cadena alimenticia.

Cualquiera sea la naturaleza de la rela-cin, son pocos los que celebran 15 aos juntos. Nada dura, ni el chicle que se mastica, ni las pare-jas, ni los contratos laborales. Y es que los tiempos estn agitados, y los estmulos y las posibilidades son mltiples. Es por esto que resulta intrigante como Patogallina logr traspasar el heroico de-safo de la creacin colectiva, donde las emocio-nes estn en carne viva y el roce de egos suele demoler la posibilidad de perdurar unidos.

Martn Erazo ha sido el capitn de esta trave-sa y abiertamente nos habl de su desarrollo como director del colectivo: La experiencia ha sido fuerte en todo sentido, al principio mi traba-jo de direccin era ms instintivo, porque, aunque tuve una formacin teatral y audiovisual, el trabajo prctico real te enfrenta a cosas no slo artsticas, sino que tambin administrativas. La realidad como grupo independiente en Chile es sper fuerte, sobre todo econmicamente, y te obliga a tomar una actitud que se va modelando y endureciendo con el tiempo, en el buen sentido. Ahora hay una cierta madurez y una gran confianza en el grupo, ya que una cosa es el director, pero todo el grupo tiene un nivel creativo, una disposicin y una entrega co-lectiva que permiten lograr un trabajo de alta cali-dad. Aunque el guin est escrito y haya un director, igual el trabajo del actor es creacin y siempre hay un espacio de proposicin cuando t construyes una

escena, en el diseo de los personajes y del vestuario o tal cosa de utilera".

Martn afirma que un elemento clave para la perdurabilidad de un grupo es coincidir todos en una misma actitud. Es mgico que se junte un ncleo de personas dispuestas a dar todo, prime-ro por hacer algo, lo que sea, y que durante mucho tiempo ponen como primer orden de vida el trabajo artstico. Tambin ideolgicamente para nosotros es importante hacer teatro no con una finalidad econmica o de figuracin, sino que lo ms impor-tante es el desahogo, el expresar algo. Encontrar gente con la misma visin de vida es un milagro, y es este coincidir el condicionante inicial de todo el proceso que nosotros vivimos.

El colectivo Patogallina, como en sus ini-cios, sigue haciendo intervenciones en la calle. Martn dice estar atento a ver qu es lo que la obra pide ya que hay unas que son para hacer al aire libre y otras que no. El hacer teatro en la calle permite una relacin distinta con el pblico, sentimos ms su agradecimiento, termina la obra y van atrs del escenario y nos conversan. En un teatro termina la obra y la gente se va, hay una distancia, en cambio eso en la calle no existe, est todo mezclado, las personas responden de manera ms libre, y como generalmente las funciones al aire libre son gratis, abiertas a todo pblico, la ciudad se transforma en un lugar de encuentro.

Whatever the nature of the relationship, not many people celebrate 15 years together. Nothing really lasts these days, not even the gum we chew, nor partners, not even a work contract! and it might be because the times are a bit agitated these days. The possibilities are multiple and we are all looking for the chance that will change our life. Thats why it is so interesting how was it that Patogallina trespassed that heroic and challenging time barrier, because it is in groups of this nature that emotions are alive underneath the skin and the egoes of the parties usually destroy the possibility of an ever lasting relationship.

Martin Erazo has been the captain of this journey in his group and he openly talked to us about his de-velopment as the director of this odyssey it has been a very strong experience in all senses. At the beginning, my job as a director was more based on instincts, becau-se although I was more focussed on the theatrical and audiovisual, the real practical job faces you with challen-ges that are not only artistic and adminitrative in natu-re. The reality as an independent group in Chile is very strong, especially economically speaking, and forces you to have an attitude that models and hardens you as time goes by, in the good sense. Now, there is a certain matu-rity and a big trust in the group, since things are divided because one thing is to be the director, and quite another is to be part of the whole group, although everybody has to have a creativity level, a good disposition, and a colective mind to think about the group and achieve good quality. Martin states that a key element to last in a group is to coincide with everybody and have the same attitude. Its magic to have a group of people getting together, who are capable of giving it all, first to do something whatever that might be and who for a long time have put first the artistical life as a job. Also, ideologically speaking, for us its important to do some plays, not because of a profit, but for the spirit, becau-se its important to take your emotions out and express yourself. To find many people with the same vision in life its a miracle and then we need to agree in the first terms of the processes that we go through.

The colectivo Patogallina in the beginning, keeps working in the street. Martin says that he is very aware of the differences that arise when a job is required, since some jobs are adequate for open spaces and others are not. When you dramatise something in the street, you make a different kind of connection with the public. You feel, the warmth of the people, the show is over and they follow you behind the stage to talk to you about it. In a play that takes place in the theatre, when the play is over, the public leaves, then you realise there is a distance; in the street instead, that doesnt happen, everything is mixed. People respond bet-ter when they are seeing a play in an open space, where the entrance is free, open to all people and the city turns into an open space for people to meet.
