In partnership with Shangri-La, we will deliver an unparalleled itinerary at Villingili Resort & Spa to highlight the island as a luxury destination, rich in wellness, cuisine, recreation and culture. It will position Shangri-La as the best the Maldvies has to offer.

Our influencers will be invited to the ultimate Shangri- La Maldives experience over 5 days, creating a “Trip of a Lifetime” which our influencers share to their large audiences.

The itinerary and experiences will, by their very nature, inspire our talented creatives to produce powerful social content around food, life-style, golf, well-being, luxury and relaxation.

Our plan involves a major Instagram competition for a Trip of a Lifetime, as well as leveraging hand picked influencers and bloggers. The competition amplifies your brand and social channels before the instameet. The hand-picked influencers amplify during the instameet.

Hand-picked for their style, demographics and key markets, we can ensure that subtle narratives are woven into the stories told by our influencers. Although we recognise that your market is probably global in nature.

A major Instagram competition will give 4 people the chance to win a trip of a life-time to Villingili, which will generate huge global interest. in your resort and growth of your own social channels.

Prior to the Instameet, be social global will begin the social amplification process by running a “Trip of a Lifetime” photo competition on Instagram for four winners. These 4 winners could be anywhere in the world.

This is done by leveraging the feeds of the 10 instameet influencers, who will generate an initial explosion as they announce and launch the competition: “Shangri-La Maldives - Trip of a Lifetime”. The fact that they are going themselves is a large attraction for entrants, so their message will be along the lines of “… and you could win a chance to come with us too.” This is the first wave of the competition’s amplification.

The competition is executed on YOUR Instagram account so that the interactions and growth is delivered to Shangri-La Maldives.

Conditions of entry to the competition mandate that participants have to follow @shangrilamaldives order to participate and to be eligible to win. The competition will reach millions of people immediately on launch (the followers of all our influencers) and will therefore generate a huge groundswell of new engaged followers and exposure for @shangrilamaldives as participants seek to compete for the trip. During the lifecycle of the competition we will be showcasing the best of the island and what winners can expect on arrival, further creating a substantial interest in Villingili and a new audience that can be inspired in the future. We will help choose 20 finalists to form a Grand Final. Their images will be divided into 4 sets of 5 images. Over 4 days we will run the finals, posting each set and instigating a public voting contest. The result is a second wave of social frenzy as finalists seek the loyalty of their social base to vote them into the trip of a life time. Each day one of four winners is announced, like for our Morocco 2015 winners below.

The competition serves as the pre-itinerary and pre-instameet ramp up delivering you immediate growth, recognition, influence and focus. The Instameet itself delivers the carefully curated content from the 10 super-star influencers, plus the winners, thus delivering you several stages of solid growth.
