The Samiti considered the proposals of the following Colleges/Institutes for finalization of fee structure for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2013-14. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final fee structure of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2013-14, subject to final a pproval/affiIiation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures a re arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students admitted in Academic Year 2013-14 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 8% each successive year as per the norms for 2013-14 till completion of the course. For example if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then from lInd years onward till completion of the course i.e. say 11, I11 and IV year the fees will be Rs. 1,08,000/- per @. In case the students take V th years for completing the course then he shall pay the fee approved in that year. I n case a student joins the course direct in second year, then he shall be required to pay Rs. 1,08,000/-. Workslieet - Calculation sheets are available in the office.

Item No. 4: To consider and decide the Review A~lplication received from followins colleses for fixation of fees for AY 2012-13.

1) D6544 : Karmveer Bhaurao Patil Shikshan Sansthan's Sahyadri Polytechnic, Pune.

Heard the Institute.

The College /Institute has given notice dated 7/6/2013 to the students/parents as per our resolution, but none is present on behalf of the students/parents. The fee declared for the courses started during 2012-13 was Rs. 17,5801- . The fee declared for the course started during 2011-12 was Rs. 32,200/-. The first point raised is non consideration of Rs. 30001- towards per student for building usage. There is substance in it. Then it is contended that there is error in considering, non salary revenue expenditure. It is stated that it should have been considered as Rs. 24,00,000/- instead of Rs. 12,61,478/-. There is also some substances in it. It is also contended that as the actual strength of students is less than 75%, 10% fee should have been added as per our norms. It is correct. I f so considered the fee come to Rs. 31,400/-. Letter dated 20/6/2013 is also given by the institution to finalized the fee of Rs. 31,400/-. We approve it. Office to declare it.

2) EN3439: Anjuman-I-Islam's Kalsekar Technical Campus, Panvel.

None is present on behalf of the Institutiobthough notice is already given. There is no written communication also from the institution for their absence. Hence revision rejected.

3) D6446 : Kai. Amdar Bramhadevdada Mane Shikshan Va Samajik Pratishthan, Bramhadevdada Mane Polytechnic Belati, Noth Solapur.


The College /Institute has given notice dated 14/6/2013 to the students/parents as per our resolution, but none is present on behalf of the studentslparents. The fee declared for the course 2012-13 was Rs. 37,000/-. The only point raised at the time of hearing is deduction of salary by 25% . There was some error in it as only 3 professor were in excess. The reduction could have been by about 10%. I f considered, the fee exceeds Rs. 40,000/- to some extent. The institute has also given letter dated 201612013 stating that the fee may be finalized at Rs. 40,000/-. We accept it. Office to declare it.

4) MB3443: Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research, Bandra (E), Mumbai.

Samiti heard the aforesaid College/Institute.

The matter is discussed fully. After discussion, it was prayed for withdrawal of the revision. Allowed to withdraw.

The College /Institute has given notice dated 6/6/2013 to the studentslparents as per our resolution, but none is present on behalf of the students/parents. The fee declared for the course 2012-13 was Rs. 34,1OO/-. It is challenged. The only point raised at the time of hearing is that the actual strength of the students is less than 75% of the sanctioned strength . Therefore it is prayed that as per our norms 10 O/O fee should be added. If so added it comes to Rs. 37,500/-. Even letter to that effect dated 20/6/2013 is given. Office to declare the fee of Rs. 37,510/-.

6 ) MB6628: Dattakala Gmup Of Institutions, Swami Chincholi Yal. Daarnd Dist. Pune.


The matter is discussed fully. After discussion, it was prayed for withdrawal of the revision. Allowed to withdraw.

7) MB3137: Smt. K.G. Mittal Institute of Management, Information Technology & Research, Mumbai.


The College /Institute has given notice dated 14/6/2013 to the studentslparents as per our resolution, but none is present on behalf of the students/parents. The fee declared for the course 2012-13 was Rs. 50,600/- . The only point argue is that the actual strength of the students is less than 75% of the sanctioned strength. Hence it is prayed that 10 O/O fee may be added as per our norms. I t is correct . The fee then would come to about Rs. 55,000/-. Item No. 5 : Yo consider and decide refund of ~enal tv received fmm B.Ed., M.Ed., B.P.Ed., and M.P.Ed., for the academic vear 2011-112.

The proposal of B.Ed., M.Ed., B.P.Ed., and M.P.Ed., are not finalized by the Samiti in view of legal position. Therefore penalty for 2011-12 as per our norms for submitting the proposals late to be refunded.


Item No. 6 : Any other matter with the permission of the chair.

a) It seems that there is some delay on the part of the colleges in submitting the proposals as the office is also accepting it on line and the colleges are also required to submit it's transcript. Hence Office Secretary is authorized to extend the time beyond 29/06/2013, as he deems proper considering the problem.

b) Considered the letter received on 12/6/2013 bearing No. 1947 from Joint Director of Technical Board Mumbai Region Mumbai. As there are 16 sanctioned posts for the Samiti there are already 9 posts are vacant. One of them is of cashier. Mr. S. R. Sakpal is working as cashier in the Samiti and handling many accounts and is fully busy. Therefore until there is a proper replacement made, it is not possible to relieve him. Office to Inform.

c) I n the norms finalized in the meeting dated 1/4/2013, norm No. 3.2 relating to filing of revision/ review, there is an error. It requires to be corrected. The norm should read as under:-

" Revision to be filed within 30 days of the declaration of fees on the website of the Samiti. The time may be extended furfher by 30 davs in case an application is filedgiving cogent reason for mndonation of delay';

Instead of

" Revison to be filed within 30 days of the declaration of fees on the website of the Samitl: The time may be extended furher by 60 davs in case an applicatlbn is filed giving cogent reason for condonation of delay':
