The Samiti considered the proposals of the following Colleges/Institutes for finalization of fee structure for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final fee structure of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15, subject to final approval/affiliation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures are arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students admitted in Academic Year 2014-15 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 5% each successive year as per the norms for 2014-15 till completion of the course. For exarr~ple if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then from 11" years onward till completion of the course i.e. say 11, I11 and IV year the fees will be Rs. 1,05,000/- per @. In case the students take V th years for completing the course then he shall pay the fee approved in that year. Worksheet - Calculation sheets are available in the office.

Nature of Deficiency

Item No. 4fil: To consider and decide on letter dated 27/08/2014 received from Dhanwa Siddhi Anorectal Institute in respect qf Post sraduate fellows hi^ course in Ksharsutra Chikitsa resardintl first vear Adhoc fee fixation for AY 2014-15.

Considered the letter dated 27/08/2014 received from the Institute Mauli Seva Sanstha Charitable Trust (Mumbai). It is in respect of Fellowship and Certificate course started by the said Institute. It is a post Graduate fellowship course in Ksharsutra Chikitsa. It is approved by the IYaharashtra University of Health Sciences and it has laid down certain guidelines to start the said fellowship and certificate course. It is recognized by the said University. But it does not fall within the purview of the Samiti for approval of fee. It is to be done by the University or by the Institute itself. Guidelines No. 5 " 25% of Course Fees collected front the students should be remitted to University alongwith the name of the students': Therefore the Samiti feels that fixation of fees is to be done by the University or Institute. There is also no G.R. approvirrg this course from the Government of Maharashtra or the Government has authorized the Samiti to approve or fix the fees for it. Item No. 4fii'l: To consider and decide on letter dated 14/08/2014 received from Suretech Colleae of Nursintl askinq explanation reqardinq hostel expenses.

Considered the letter dated 14/8/2014 of the Institute. It is in respect of RGNMIRANM and BSc. Nursing courses and in respect of RANMIRGNM courses, there is already resolution passed on 6/8/2013 by the Samiti . It is as under:-

"Considered the letter dated 25/7/2013 received from the Institute Shree Bhairavnath Shikshan and Seva Bhavi Sanstha Ichalkaranji. As the hostel is compulsory for RANM & RGNM courses. Hostel expenses are included while declaring the final approved fees. Office to Communimte. "

This would also apply to BSc. Nursing. Office to Communicate.

Item No. 4[iii): To consider and decide on letter dated 29/03/2014 received from Br. Nath Pai Shikshan Sanstha Sindhudurq resardinq fixation of fee for BSc. Nursins for AY 2009-10 and 2010-11.

Considered the letter dated 29/03/2014 of the Institute. -The proposal was not submitted for the year 2009-10 and 2010-11. The reason given is that the Institute was not knowing that the fees are required to be approved by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti. It cannot be accepted. The fee is always approved on the basis of the proposal, audited accounts and other connected documents required as per norms. Therefore it is not possible for the Samiti to approve the fee for those years. Office to comniunicate.


Item No. 4(ivl: To consider and decide on letter dated 9/08/2014 received from Ashvin Rural Avurved Colleqe reqardinq fixation of fee for PG course for AY 2013-14.

Considered the letter dated 9/08/2014 of the Institute. It is for the course started during 2013-14. The Affidavit only mentioned about the intake of the Under Graduate course. But it is pointed out that they got permission for post Graduate course during 2012-13 and 18 seat's were permitted. Ofice to reconsider and re-calculate the fee for the course started during 2013-14 both for UG and PG and same to be placed before the Samiti for approval in the next meeting. .

Item No. 5: Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.

I n case any college does not approached the Samiti till the end of September 2014, then it is to be treated as if it has not approached the Samiti for approval of fee at all. Therefore the norm No. 1.7 would apply. It is as under:-

"If any college does not approach the Samiti for approval of fee for 2014-15 then it can only charge fee as charged by Govt Colleges. The list of colleges who do not submit proposal to be put on the website of the Samiti Such colleges to charge fees which are charged by nun autonomous govt. colleges, if such course is run and if such course is not run by any Govt. college then adhoc fee for that year'.

The next meeting of the Shikshan Shulka Samiti (Medical Education) would be held on Thursday the 1 6 ~ ~ October 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in the Meeting Hall, Office of the Samiti at 305, Government Polytechnic Building, 49, Kherwadi, Ali Yawar Jung Marg, Bandra (E) Mumbai 400 051.
