Did you ever notice that stock photography has a tendency to look, well, a little “stocky?” And it’s no surprise given that the big guys keep eating the small guys, and so many sites are aggregating content from each other. What ever happened to the diversity and creativity? But when 15,000 photographers from 120 countries (and counting) come together to contribute over 100,000 images per month, the world suddenly starts to look interesting again. Imagine a place where a 13-year old kid submits a picture of his friend with an afro, riding his bike while listening to his iPod… that he took only yesterday. Imagine �nding that perfect homegrown shot right alongside some of the greatest aerial photography in the world. That’s the kind of place where we like to hang out because pictures inspire us. And we want pictures to inspire you again too, like they used to before the big guy ate the small guy.
