THANK YOU! We as a parish extend our appreciation to Bell Bank and Melissa Bozovsky for their generous donation of disposable flatware to the New Life Center (men’s shelter in Fargo) as they undergo a kitchen remodel. Bell Bank, Melissa, and others have also facilitated the donation of paper products to our parish events, such as the Bazaar, many times in the past. Thank you for your generosity! OLD TESTAMENT STUDY Over half of the world’s population refers to Abraham as “father”. Join us this Thursday at 7:00 PM to learn what it was about Abraham and Sarah that gave them such great faith, even amidst great trials. We will be taking a look at the lineage from Noah to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We will discover many details of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and how they were foretold centuries before He was even born (no other founder of a religion can claim that!). This Thursday is the second of four classes on Salvation History. You can and are encouraged to come, even if you missed the first one! We will also continue for the next two consecutive Thursdays, all starting at 7:00 PM in the Cabrini Room (203). Join us! KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: COME CELEBRATE! The men of the parish and their families are invited to a Knights of Columbus party. We are celebrating a successful 2017, particularly the Christmas tree sale and preparing for the council's work in 2018. There will snacks and drinks for kids and adults on Monday, January 22 at 7:00 PM in the Mother Cabrini Room (Room 203). All are welcome! HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS – SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY! Middle School and High School students have an opportunity to win $100 in the Knights of Columbus essay contest. Forms are available in the bins near the bulletin board in St. Francis Hall, and essays must be submitted prior to February to be eligible for the $100 prize from St. Anthony’s Knights of Columbus - and to potentially be sent to the state level for additional awards. Contact a Knight for more information. RESPONDING WITH LOGIC AND LOVE PROGRAM On Wednesday nights, we continue with Dr. Edward Sri’s program, “Who am I to Judge? Responding to Relativism with Logic and Love,” at 6:30 PM in the Knights/Fr. McGivney room (#206). Dr. Sri will be in Fargo for the Redeemed Conference this Spring – come check out his program beforehand!

FORMED: WEEKLY HIGHLIGHT Since the fall of our first parents, humanity has been tempted to mistrust the love that God the Father has for us. Many theologians even say that a lack of trust in God is behind all of our sins. Scripture scholar Dr. Tim Gray takes us on a journey that addresses the pervasive misconceptions that God is quick to anger, that the God of the Old and New Testaments are different, and that God doesn’t have a merciful heart for us. You will see that you can trust our heavenly Father, Who is truly one with His Son. He repairs all, modifies and vivifies; loves in the heart, hears in the mind, sees in the eyes, speaks in the tongue; does all in all, and then it is not we who live, but Jesus Christ who lives in us.
