* Ora et Lobora: How to Find balance in Our

Lives February 24-26, 2017

Saint Benedict is the master of balance. He teach-

es us ‘Discretion:’ not too little, not too much of

anything, without being mediocre. He encour-

ages us to go with the flow of the day’s and the

night’s natural rhythms, of summer and winter,

of hunger and satisfaction, of sleeping and being

awake, of praying and working. This allows us

to conquer exaggerations of an any kind. This is

a great opportunity to reflect on our way of life.
