Lord Jesus Christ, we remember all those of our loved ones and friends who have died. Please give your servants comfort and hope. "We believe that, if we died with Christ, then we shall live with him too." (Romans 6:8, New Jerusalem Bible)
We pray for those who have fought, whose spirits and
bodies are scarred by war, whose nights are haunted by
memories too painful for the light of day.
We pray for those who serve us now, especially for those in
harm's way. Shield them from danger and bring them home.
