Angel Tree We will have an angel tree again this year. It will be in the back of the church right after Thanksgiving. So everyone just doesn’t pick one resident and buy everything on the list, we are trying an angel for each item requested. You can pick more than one angel, of course. Details will follow on when the gifts need to be wrapped, labeled and brought back to church. The residents of Good Samaritan are most appreciative of the gifts they receive.

Christmas Party Remember to mark your calendars for the Christmas Party to be held on Sunday, December 17, after Mass, at the Apex Bank of Camden on 641 in the community center behind the bank. The church provides the meat, and everyone is asked to bring a dish to share.

Lord Jesus Christ, we remember all those of our loved ones and friends who have died. Please give your servants comfort and hope. "We believe that, if we died with Christ, then we shall live with him too." (Romans 6:8, New Jerusalem Bible)

Thanksgiving Message from Reverend Father Herbert Ene God is good! All the time! My beloved people of God the “Thanksgiving Day” celebration is here again. It is a time to express our thanks and gratitude to God Almighty for all his blessings and favors to us as individuals, as a family, as a community and as a nation. No matter how hard the storms of life toss you around and no matter how heavy your cross may be; there are people who pray to be like you. Brothers and sisters, we have many reasons to thank God. The greatest act of thanksgiving is the celebration of the Holy “Eucharist,” which itself means “thanksgiving.” Therefore, I call on every one of us to attend our Thanksgiving Mass at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Camden on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 9.00am prompt. I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. Remain ever blessed. Fr. Herbert Ene (Pastor)

Thank you for your service
