If left, a seed will not bear fruit, but once dead and planted in the ground, the seed produces. The Gospel of the grain of wheat is Christ’s assurance to us of the great things we can do by dying to self and rising to the love and compassion of Jesus. In our openness to God’s grace there will always be possibilities for new beginnings, and second chances. Only by reaching out beyond ourselves do we learn and grow; only by giving to others do we receive; only by dying do we rise to new life. and great value. Thank you all for your continued support. Please note that next Friday we have the funeral of Marcel De Can at 11am and therefore the Wellspring will be closed. As the following week is Good Friday Elaine has decided that the wellspring will close up until the 20th April 2018 and wishes you all a very blessed and holy Easter.

The first Saturday of the month - 9.30am Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa’s followed by a cooked or Continental breakfast in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere ~ open til 11am. Come worship and receive from the Lord, then spend time and be nourished with your Church family ….the perfect beginning to the weekend! As always, The Wellspring runs on a donation principle only and all breakfast profits will go towards funding our proposed new Lady Altar ♥

RCIA - Please remember in your prayers all those who are preparing for Baptism and the Easter Sacraments. We pray especially for Graham and Marie. Reconciliation - Last Saturday in every month at St Pius X or every Saturday at 5pm. Baptism - If you are thinking about preparing your child/children for Baptism please speak to Fr Gerry after Mass. First Holy Communion - We look forward to welcoming our children at 4pm in church. Please remember in your prayers - Leo,Anthony,Kitty-Rose,Franco, Samuel, Freddie, Isabella, Xavier, Noah, Mia, Kirsty & Aiden. Floristry at St Teresa’s

For many years we have been blessed with two very committed parishioners who delight us with their floral displays. Unfortunately Christine is no longer able to continue in this

role and Penny is in great need of some help. If you are artistic and love working with flowers this would be a great contribution to church life. Thank you Christine and Penny for all you have done - a super team. Second collection - This weekend there will be a second collection for flowers for Easter.

Please be as generous as you can. Easter Lily envelopes are now at the back of church.
