FREE SUMMER PROGRAM FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN
STUDENTS!
Summer Bridge Program
Morton District 201 offers an opportunity for incoming freshmen students to increase their math, reading, and writing skills and earn high school credit FREE of charge through our Summer Bridge Program. The program helps students transition to high school who are in need of extra academic support. Students will earn a 1/2 credit for each course taken. We recommend students take the full day (Math and English) which will earn them 1 full high school credit. Students enrolled in the Summer Bridge Program will receive their Morton laptops before the program begins. This year the program will take place in a Hybrid format with students experiencing a combination of both in person learning and virtual learning. Face masks are required to be worn at all times and students must socially distance.
This program is recommended for students who will be taking core Math and/or English in the fall.

What is the Summer Bridge Program?
El Distrito 201 de Morton ofrece una oportunidad para que los estudiantes de primer año entrantes aumenten sus habilidades en matemáticas, lectura y escritura y obtengan créditos de la escuela secundaria GRATIS a través de nuestro Programa Puente de Verano. El programa ayuda a los estudiantes en la transición a la escuela secundaria que necesitan apoyo académico adicional. Los estudiantes obtendrán 1/2 crédito por cada curso que tomen. Recomendamos que los estudiantes tomen el día completo (matemáticas e inglés), lo que les otorgará 1 crédito completo de escuela secundaria. Los estudiantes inscritos en el Programa Puente de Verano recibirán sus computadoras portátiles de Morton antes de que comience el programa. Este año, el programa se llevará a cabo en un formato híbrido y los estudiantes experimentarán una combinación de aprendizaje en persona y aprendizaje virtual. Se requiere el uso de máscaras faciales en todo momento y los estudiantes deben distanciarse socialmente.
