Ordination of Deacon Michael Coveyou
The Ordination of Deacon Michael Coveyou will take place on Satur- day 23 June, 10 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, Raleigh. All are welcome and invited to attend!
That same evening after the 5:30 PM Mass, celebrations will continue with a dinner reception in his honor. If you are able, please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Father Michael Coveyou will say all the Masses with a continental breakfast following each Sunday Mass, 24 June.
For those wishing to attend the Saturday night dinner reception there will be sign-up sheets in the atrium, starting this Saturday 10 June. Parishioners are invit-ed to attend all events.

ELEMENTARY PROGRAMS
-Elementary First Communion (1st Year Prep) Grades 1st through 5th are invited to register for 1st year prep. The following materials will be used:
1st grade: Allelu from Our Sunday Visitor
2nd & 3rd grade: Creemos from Sadlier
4th & 5th grade: Journey of Faith from Ligour i
-Elementary First Communion (2nd Year Prep) At the end of this training children will receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Materials used are:
God’s Gift Textbooks will cover Reconciliation and the Eucharist, as well as two booklets for retreats from Loyola Press.
-Elementary Religious Education (ERE) This program is post First communion. These are the material we will use for the coming year:

MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS
-Junior Youth Ministry (JYM) This faith formation program for 6th– 8th grade will meet on Sunday evenings. Materials to be used are the following two books (per school year):

-Middle First Communion (MFC) Preparation for First Communion, 1st and 2nd year. Combining faith and sport practice on Wednesdays. Materials used for this class are:
