DISTRICT 14 TRESTLE BOARD – FEBRUARY 2019 EDITION
Brethren of the 14th District,
I bring you the warm fraternal greetings of the Grand Master of
Masons in Massachusetts, Most Worshipful Paul Fulton
Gleason, as well as my own. We began my tenure as District
Deputy Grand Master with the music of Mozart and Haydn
being played by a violin soloist just before the formal opening of
the January LOI. I can assure you of one thing that LOI will
hold your attention, with much education, lodge and fraternal
Collaboration and Masonic light spread through unique ways.
My first Fraternal Visit was very well attended and what made
it even more special was that every Past 14th District
Deputy Grand Master was in attendance. It was a joyous and
moving commencement of my term as the 10th DDGM of the
14th District and I am greatly honored. Thank you to
Joseph Warren-Soley Lodge for making it a special evening.
We have so much to celebrate here in the Best District
Ever. Tahattawan Lodge and Joseph Warren-Soley
Lodge both won a Golden Gavel at the awards
ceremony as well as the 14th District itself.
Congratulations! 157 submissions and the 14th District
won 25% of the awards. What an amazing feat.
See the photos from the event in this newsletter.
There are many events coming up so please check the
Calendar, the new District website, and this Newsletter.
If you have a submission you would like to get to the
District Communications team please email:
Remember brethren that your active involvement makes this Fraternity better. The more
ideas you have and share with your brothers means we elevate the Masonic experience. My
advice is to plan some events outside the Lodge. We are a fraternity, let us enjoy being in each
other’s company inside and outside the Lodge. Fraternally,
Rt. Wor. John C. Toto District Deputy Grand Master 14th Masonic District
