Staff members will type up flyers, registration forms, membership types, Life Lines classes, ect.
Make sure that each member is given a card to allow the member to work out in the gym.
3. Hardware
Each fitness center will need3 computer
There must be a server computer, this computer will run the main tasks of the fitness center. The Server Computer will control all of the other computers around the club.
It manages the networking and programming for the complete system.
We chose the Dell Precision T5500 Dual Processor- costing about $1,700.
4. Jobs the Server computers will perform
The main dell can manage prices, look over other computers on the same server, manage money in and out of the club, holds hours for the employees, and many more tasks in running an athletic club.
5. Computers-
The front desk has two computers. The Point of Sale Computer (workstation #1) and the Sign-In Computer (workstation #2).
6. Jobs for Point of Sale Computer(POS)
We chose Dell Precision T7400 with internet to update the webpage, check emails, ect. This cost about $1,500 per computer.
Used to add members/delete members/edit members/bill members.
Flyers and new fitness club information istyped and printed on this computer.
Used for Point of Sale (POS), Pay on Account (POA)and Charge to account (CTA).
Also for the reconciliation of checks, cash, credit, and CTA.
7. Jobs for Sign-in Computers(Workstations #2)
We chose the Dell Precision T3500, costing about $1,300.
Established with scan codes, each fitness member receives a scan card embedded with their account number for more accessible check-in.
8. Software
We chose CSI Software Spectrum NG; specifically their Club Management Software.
This software is used worldwide for Health & Fitness clubs, including fitness centers like Gold's Gym.
This software allows The Athletic Club to bill members, manage guests, members and employees, inventory, Point of Sale (POS) and front desk management.
This software allows multiple locations and we have five.
Using this software requires a down payment of $18,000- Which includes, scan cards, Credit Card Machine used to collect payment, Camera for member photos and a web portal for online services.
In addition to the cost, there will be a monthly fee for each facility.

10. Costs for operating our Fitness Centers
$2,000 on hardware per location, $10,000 monthly in totaled.
Software costs a down payment of $18,000 to purchase.
Hardware cost $4,500 per facility, totaling to be $22,500 including server.
Averaging prices, annually the hardware and software for The Athletic Club will cost $160,500.
