SAN FRANCISCO OPERA Education Materials THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER PRODUCTION TEAM BIOGRAPHY DAVID HANEKE, Video Production Designer David Haneke was born and grew up in Vienna. From 1974 to 1985 he studied Cello with Professor Ebert. From 1985 to 2005 he lived and workedin Amsterdam, where he studied Performing Arts at the High School of Arts.In addition to acting in many Dutch theatre productions - including several years as performer and video specialist with innovative site- specific theatre group BEWTH - he has directed and produced a number of independent films and video installations in the Netherlands. His work found its core in creating pre-recorded and real-time video projections for stage events like theatre, opera and dance groups. Since 2005 he has lived in Switzerland. His most recent work includes a touring visual concert Camera Ostinato; Iphiegenie en Aulide (Theater an der Wien);Mahoganny (Mexico City) and Der Tod und das Mädchen (Theater St Gallen).

DAVID HANEKE, Video Production Designer

David Haneke was born and grew up in Vienna. From 1974 to 1985 he studied Cello with Professor Ebert.
