This Evening’s Schedule

• 30 minutes: Presentation on (i) Kavana’s process for adopting a sustainable financial model and (ii) our current financial model

• 45 minutes: Break-out groups discussing the value and purposes of Kavana in our lives, the meaning of “cooperative,” and the role of money in Kavana

• 15 minutes: Reconvene as a community/ where we go from here

Kavana’s Process for Developing a Sustainable

Financial Model(based on input from DZO Strategists, LLC)

• 2010 State of the Union Workshop – Community discussion of value and purposes of Kavana in our lives

• April 2010 – Appointment of team with 1-year charter to synthesize community input, study alternative financial models, and present recommendations

• June 2010 Community Meeting – Interim report by team re: value and purposes of Kavana

• November 2010 Community Meeting – Interim report by team on alternative financial models

• 2011 State of the Union Workshop – Adoption of sustainable financial model that advances the value and purposes of Kavana
