• This is money given to people who are unemployed and looking for work

• For people on low incomes

• For unemployed• Paid by the Local

Council Tax Benefit

• Most of us pay a Council Tax

• This depends on size and location of house

• If on Income support you are entitled to 100% rebate

• Low income families will have reduced tax

Medical Aid

• Free Hospitals• Free Dental treatment• Free Spectacles

• All these are free to people on Income Support or to people on low incomes

Job Centre Plus

1. JOBCENTRE PLUS:Provides a wide range of services to help people find employment and claim correct benefits.

The New Deal

• Introduced to give unemployed people help in getting back into employment or through training to provide them with necessary skills.
