We are a college-preparatory school that utilizes cutting-edge technology. Every student uses an iPad for learning both in and outside the classroom, and teachers utilize Apple TV in every classroom for the most interactive learning experience available. Cristo Rey Columbus also will prepare you with the classes — including honors and AP offerings — that you need for college. In addition to the standard college-prep curriculum, we also offer electives in subjects like art, music, drama, journalism, and engineering.

The School That Works REAL-WORLD WORK EXPERIENCE STARTS YOUR CAREER PATH NOW.• All Cristo Rey Columbus students work five days per month in companies around the city.• On work days you will come to school in the morning, have breakfast, prayer, a quick morning meeting, and then hop in our

provided transportation to go to work. At the end of the day the transportation brings you back to school. Note: Some students who work very close to the school will walk when weather permits.

• Your academic schedule is planned around work so you never miss class days.• Your “salary” is sent to school so you’re actually paying part of the cost of your own education during your work-study experience.

Our Professional Work-Study Program can give you career ideas you’ve never considered or give you the opportunity to try out a field you already have an interest in, all while earning money to cover much of the cost to attend. You will work with doctors, lawyers, managers, vice presidents and other exciting people who will provide professional guidance for you. Some may even hire you for the summer and after you graduate college .

Cristo Rey Columbus alumni have been accepted into colleges and universities locally, like Ohio State University, Columbus College of Art & Design, and Ohio Dominican University, and all over the country like Brown University and Spelman College. o Submit a Request for Records/Teacher Recommendation Packet, (also found online) to your 8th grade school. They will then send us recommendation forms from your teachers, copies of your grades and standardized test scores, attendance data, and the other important information to help us make an admissions decision.

o Take the Cristo Rey Columbus Entrance Exam. Call to ask about testing dates.

o Complete the FACTS Application for Grant & Aid online.
