The ideal applicants will preferably have an NVQ3, or equivalent, or a degree ifAspirant Teacher. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking, creativepractitioners, able to motivate pupils.

Applicants must have Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths GCSE andbe able to develop positive behaviour strategies with children and be a goodteam member. As an outstanding teaching school we are able to provide youwith excellent opportunities to develop further.

Cann Bridge School and Mill Ford School cater for children and young peoplewith severe learning difficulties from 3 to 19 years.

We are seeking an HLTA (or equivalent) with experience of working within theEarly Years Foundation Stage and with pupils with additional needs. Theappointed persons will lead a small group of pupils at the satellite provision withsupport and guidance from the early years teachers from the two schools.

This position has the potential to be an excellent learning opportunity forpractitioners seeking to enhance their EYFS, SEN and collaborationexperience. The post is initially for one year with the possibility of extension.

Knowledge of child development and children with learning difficulties isrequired and applicants will need to be calm and patient with a good sense ofhumour and willing to undertake any training necessary.
