THREE PLACES

Three Places is a work inspired by João Guimarães Rosa’s short stories The Audacious

Mariner and Soroco. The work is about a man and a woman endeavouring to maintain

their equilibrium. They conjure flights of the imagination, creating another world, a place

that lies between their experiences and themselves.

Directed by Simon Rice

Performed by Ilana Gorban and Simon Rice

Live music by Thomas Rohrer
