Jember Regency is a regency of East Java, Indonesia. The population was 2,346,498 at the 2010 census. Its administrative capital is the urban area of Jember, which with 332,611 inhabitants in 2010 is the third urban area in East Java province (after Surabaya and Malang) but does not have municipality or city status. Jember is famous for its tobacco farms and traditional food called tape which is made of fermented cassava. However, Jember is still one of growth city in Indonesia. Giving the positive impact to the society that have many rooms to improve and things to develop through our project is the challenge that you will meet in here, let’s join us and make it happen together!

AIESEC in Universitas Jember After AIESEC in Indonesia established in 1984, in the first Local Committee AIESEC Universitas Indonesia, then AIESEC continue its journey to develop more youth in

Indonesia. AIESEC in Universitas Jember (AIESEC IN UNEJ) has been developing youth in University of Jember since 2013 as Specialized Unit Entity. We continue our journey

until now on and achieving the status as Expansion Initiative in early January 2015. Now, we also have been recognized as the official university based organization in the

end of January 2015.

We still continue our journey to engage and develop young people while give the best effort to give positive impact to society as we now have more than 40

members. AIESEC in UNEJ’s first project also leave a memorable and positive impact to the 15 Eps from 5 Countries as well as the people in University Jember

and Jember itself.

We commit to develop more youth in Jember so every youth can enhance their own leadership potentials. Hopefully we can contribute more, not only to the

people in University of Jember but also in a bigger scope, Jember as a city.
