Twin Cities Prepare For Deep Freeze After
Massive Snowfall
After the Twin Cities of Minnesota battled through the worst snowfall in 25 years, residents,
city officials, and authorities are preparing for the next big deep freeze which will create sub-
zero temperatures.
With the Minneapolis and St. Paul cities being such heavily populated areas, thousands were
affected as State Patrol warned to not travel unless it is absolutely necessary.
When the snowfall subsided and began caking onto the roads, it created that infamous layer of
ice which in turn caused:
Over 1,900 spinouts
680 totaled crashes
64 reported injuries

Insane Minneapolis and St. Paul Winter Weather
Over 17-inches of snow accumulated within the two-day span of the storm – taking this
season’s snowfall total to 57 inches. For those who are concerned with the conditions of the road
just as we are at Allied Restoration, snowplows will be salting as doing their best to break up the
ice that has accumulated over the past week – however, you want to stay alert because
snowplows were not designed to plow ice.
If your home is within Minneapolis and is suffering from any type of leaking with the increased
snowfall or if the winter weather has caused any type of damage to your home like in the Twin
cities – contact Allied Restoration. Our team of professional, restoration contractors can assess
the damages to your home and provide emergency board-up if the interior is exposed to the frigid
temperatures.
We’re almost through this rough winter season, just keep hanging in there.
