INFOSIL is the online platform where you will find all the information you need during the semester. It is very important that you constantly review the site, since you will receive news and updates about your courses, schedules, teachers, cultural activities, among others.

Canvas is considered one of the best tools for e-learning. You will find your registered courses and class information for the semester on this platform. You will be able to contact your classmates and course teachers for group work and assignments.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

• ARTISTIC AND SPORTS WORKSHOPS: • Artistic Workshops available online: Afro Peruvian Dances, Marinera, Latin Dances, Folklore Dances, Tuna and Singing. • Sports Workshops available online: Wushu, Chess, Rugby, Volleyball, Karate, Taekwondo and Football.

• TAKE A LOOK @ COUNTRY PRESENTATIONS: International students proudly represent their countries working together as a team to present traditions and cultural aspects (gastronomy, music, tourism etc.). Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, France, Austria & Germany are some examples about these informative sessions.

• FUN ACTIVITIES: Karaoke Night, Mindfulness Session, International Bingo, Talent Show.

USIL AMBASSADORS:

The USIL Ambassadors club is organized by the Direction of International Relations of USIL with the aim of strengthening relations between USIL students and international students. During your virtual exchange, an USIL Ambassador will be your guide and support during the mobility. You will be able to participate in different cultural and social events:

• EVENTS: International Day, Peruvian Corner, English Corner, Spanish Tandem, Gastronomic Events and Netflix & Book Club.

The intranet where you can access all your academic information, news, updates and USIL notices, informative documents, course materials, syllabi, notes, class attendance, among others.To access, you need to do the following: • Enter the following web page: https://infosil.usil.edu.pe/ • Register with your personal email • Create a USER and PASSWORD. Save them for future access. This is very important, since all your academic information (courses, schedules, syllabi, announcements, etc.) is contained there.

MEDICAL CARE

International health insurance One of the requirements to apply to USIL is to have an international insurance that covers medical expenses, accidents, risks and travel-related issues. Before you arrive in Peru, you need to be aware of the following: • At all times, carry a copy of your International Medical Insurance with you. • Have a list of medical institutions where you can be seen in case of an emergency. You can get this information through your insurance broker. • Know the payment process to the medical institution, in case you need to use your insurance.
