The event took place the 29th June 2017
o Objective: Identify priorities for the city (minimum 3) in environmental issues related to resource consumption and waste prevention.
o Priorities:
• Awareness – Education, information, motivation
• PAYT – User Payer principle
• New rows of selective collection
o Participants: 21
In general, the participants were
happy the applied methodology.

The event took place at November 7th 2017
o The objective was to construct a preliminary list of actions that could give an answer to city's priorities in environmental issues related to resource consumption and waste prevention identified in the 1st face-to-face Agoras.
o Results: A list with 35 actions presented by the participants.
This list was placed online at the project platform - Online Agoras - to receive contributions from stakeholders
o Participants: 37
The participants revealed they were interested with the collaborative methodology used.

The event occurred at December 6th 2017
o The objective was to conduct a SWOT and TOWS analysis of the actions that emerged for each priority in the previous Agoras.
o Results: A list with 13 actions
o Participants: 23
As always the participants were satisfied with the methodology and were happy to contribute to

A Seminar that was held on March 22th of
2018, in the auditorium of Leiria Municipal
Stadium.
o The objective Choose the Top 6 Actions to implement.
o There was a presentation of Leonardo Rosado about the UMAn Model that pleased all the people in the room!
o Participants: 38
The participants were curious about the methodology. This seminar was a Success .
People were so receptive that it was decided to do an online vote of the same 13 actions.

“From Strategic Planning
framework to Local
Strategic Action Plan”

o The objective was to present the online platform of UrbanWINS to all the stakeholders.
o Results: The vote was a success.
o Participants: A total of
181 answer.
After the vote and with the results of both online and presential votes we reached the TOP 6 Actions

It was not easy to convince people to be at face-to-
face Agoras. They had always a lot of excuses
not to go.
But once they were there everyone enjoyed being
part of a solution!!!

o Presentation of the three actions to be
implemented at Leiria
o Participants: 40
The participative process enabled the team to
determinate what should be evaluated, how and
when, and the expected results. The goal was
the improvement of good practices and how
citizens and other stakeholders in society
promote the use of available goods, food and
resources.
There was a lot of participants and people were
happy to be involved, to learn more about
waste and environmental questions

Will be happening the 11th of April 2019
o Final Face-to-Face Agora
o Participants will know wish are the results of
implementation of the pilot actions!
How was it in the field with the key actors;
What can still be done to improve management
and prevent waste.
Did people accept easily new methodologies?
Did they accept to be teach different ways of
doing their jobs?

There was always a lot of interest
about the theme
“Each participant of this process brings knowledge,
contributions, learn and is informed.
When people get involved and participate in a project,
when they take the idea as their own and feel able to
defend a project - their best chance of success will be
their implementation."
