fi scher Edelstahlrohre for Demanding Applications
Gleaming in Top Shape
Stainless steel is a very special material. It not only looks shiny, but also possesses exceptional physical characteristics. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, can withstand high thermal and mechanical loads and can be shaped well.
But the material would be nothing without advanced processing. fi scher stainless steel tubes are produced exclusively on machines made by fi scher Maschinentechnik, another company within the fi scher group. This in-house development and the special processes are the results of a decade-long optimization process. They differentiate us from the competition in decisive details.
This has made fi scher Edelstahlrohre well known – all over the world.
fi scher Range:Stainless steel tubes in every shape
Stainless steel tubes are required in many different shapes and material grades. They are built into automobiles, trucks and ships. They are used in industrial plants, power stations, medical and offshore technology. They are used to desalinate seawater and accompany everyday life in electronic and household appliances.
Whatever the application, fi scher Edel-stahlrohre can provide the right tube in the right grade. Round tubes, square and rectangular tubes, profi le tubes and special geometries are available in all standard metric and imperial dimensions.
fi scher Service:Consistently customer-oriented
At fi scher, employees and management together are committed to customer satisfaction. We have set this out in the guiding principles of our company philosophy. Here are a few extracts. Measure us against them.
We create components made of stainless steel in every shape for our customers.
If something appears impossible, we look for an innovative solution.

As part of the international fi scher group, fi scher Edelstahlrohre is represented all over the world. The fi scher group is one of the leading suppliers of tubes and complex components made of stainless steel. The fi scher group produces tubing in seven countries using machines and production processes that were especially developed for this purpose. This way, we can ensure a uniform standard of quality across the world.
Wherever our customers are, fi scher stainless steel tubes are delivered to them in
the quickest and most effi cient way. In globally consistent, high fi scher quality.
Know-how transfer byfi scher Maschinentechnik
Within the fi scher group, one company deals exclusively with the development, design and manufacturing of production machines. The in-house developments of fi scher Maschinentechnik are used at all production sites of the fi scher group. fi scher thus ensures that the same leading technology and the same procedures are used for production around the world.
Thanks to close co-operation with all fi scher manufacturing locations, practical experience and suggestions for optimiza-tion fl ow directly into the development work. Process optimization measures and improved technologies are integrated into the everyday production of the fi scher production companies in the framework of an international transfer of know-how.
So you can be sure that in Canada, Mexico or South Africa the same machine technology and processes are used as in Germany.
fi scher Edelstahlrohre:International sites
fi scher stainless steel tubes are produced internationally in fi nancially independent subsidiary companies. fi scher Maschinen-technik – the companies technology center
– providing a common platform for all manu-facturing locations, internal standards and communication systems along with regular personal exchanges guarantee a common approach to quality on a global basis.

fi scher stainless steel tubes are produced on equipment that has been developed in-house and is constantly improved further. The high quality slit coil is shaped into tube on our high precision roll forming equipment.
The Supply Portfolio of fi scher Edelstahlrohre
The fi scher Edelstahlrohre product portfolio encompasses tubes from 6mm to 203.2mm with wall thicknesses from 0.1mm. Whether it is round, square, rectangular or profi le tube – stainless steel tubes are produced at fi scher in all common material qualities up to a length of 28 meters. Year after year, all the fi scher sites combined produce more than 75 million meters of tubing – an output that would reach almost twice around the world. All in top-class fi scher quality.

Precision all the way
At fischer, welding is primarily carried out using lasers. This process allows for precise, top quality weld joints even with thin gauge materials.
fischer material grades
fischer stainless steel tubes are produced in a variety of available material grades: austenitic, ferritic, Duplex or Super Duplex, depending on which application demands are important for the respective use – resistance to corrosion or heat, rigidity or appearance.
More and more frequently special alloys are being considered as high-quality alternatives to stainless steel.

Final Processing of Tubes and Quality Checks
After processing on our fully automated roll forming and welding lines the tubes are inspected for dimensional accuracy and other customer specifi ed characteristics. Every heat lot of material undergoes extensive quality checks to make sure they meet and exceed your, and our own, exacting requirements. Once at fi nal processing and depending on the customers requirement, the tubes may undergo a fi nal cut-to-length or polishing process.
Everything precisely as you requested it. Our tubes are ready for your next process.

Keyword: Quality and qualifi cation
Only qualifi ed employees can produce quality. That is why continued and further training of the employees plays an important role at fi scher. By means of internal exchange and external support we ensure that everyone is as well-equipped as possible for their task and does not lose sight of the big picture. Only in this way can holistic quality management function properly.

Our work for you does not have to end with the production of tubes but can extend beyond that, if you so desire. Together with fi scher Rohrtechnik and fi scher Hydroforming we are able to produce the most complex of components. We are pushing the limits on a daily basis. What previously did not seem possible is now made possible. Beyond what is standard, the specialists at fi scher use innovative processes to shape stainless steel tubes into new, often astonishing forms. Lighter, more complex, more demanding.
That is the special strength of fi scher Rohrtechnik and fi scher Hydroforming: Finding new possibilities at the limit of what
is feasible, time after time – and putting them to practical use. That’s what we are known for – all over the world.

“It is a great privilege to be able to present a complete solution to our customers by offering various shapes and sizes of stainless steel tubing. The many different processes we are able to offer and the high level of experience and competence achieved by the fischer team in South Africa will ensure customer satisfaction.”
Erich Kotzenmacher, Managing Director,
fischer South Africa
The further processing of finished tubes into more complex components takes place at eight factories in the fischer group: four in Germany and one each in Canada, South Africa, Mexico and China.
The continuous evolution of our processes is not only increasing the depth of our products but also their variety. This does not just apply to particular sites, but to all international locations in the fischer group that deal with tube manipulation and hydro-forming – thanks to the intensive, group-internal transfer of know-how.
A summary of the processing methods
The fischer group offers all standard tube processing technologies and with them can satisfy most customers inquiries. In case we can not fulfill one of our customers requests we will develop further and relentlessly pursue new processes until we have a solution. That’s a promise!

Where Quality Countsfi scher Edelstahlrohre for the World’s Industries
The extraordinary qualities of stainless steel – its rigidity and resistance to corrosion even at consistently high temperatures – have made stainless steel tubes and components the preferred parts in many fi elds of industry. At fi scher, the quality of the material itself is supplemented by excellent machining and an ever wider variety of different shapes. The spectrum of applications for tubes in fi scher quality has thus expanded considerably, not only in the automobile industry. As well as in processing plants, the construction of chemical apparatus, the supplying of drinking water, thermal desalination of seawater and in private households, more and more new applications are being found for tubes and components from fi scher.
Talk to us about your plans and ideas. We will then provide you with the solution – with
