Being an entrepreneur means more

than simply starting your own business.

Entrepreneurs are able to anticipate

needs, innovate, create and take

calculated risks in order to succeed.

When kids are exposed to

entrepreneurial thinking, a profound

change takes place. They learn to think

their ability to tackle challenges.

Our collective mission is to help young

people discover their passions and use

technology to turn their ideas into

products or services that can change the

world.

VentureLab is an academy that

introduces kids to entrepreneurship and provides 21st century

skills that preparestudents for leadership

in the rapidly shifting job market.

is not currently taught in schools today.

We believe that encouraging children

to learn about entrepreneurship helps

them gain awareness of their future-and

that they can shape and forge their own

unique path forward. We are simply the

guides and mentors that help them turn

their passions into real-world careers.

YOUTH STARTUPDate: June 22 - 26, Aug 10 - 14Ages: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13Price: $375/week

URBAN FARMER & RECYCLEPRENEUR Date: July 6 - 10Ages: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13Price: $375/week

Students will learn to plan,

organize, and execute

urban projects and pitch

their concepts to improve

San Antonio. Students will be

immersed into the world of

city planning, green

architecture, urban farming

and city beautification.

MUSIC & FILM Date: Aug 3 - Aug 7Ages: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13Price: $375/week

Film and Musicprenuer is

a hands-on class where

students use a variety of

technologies to produce

their own music and

videos. Students will be

allowed to take their

digital creations home

once the camp finishes.

GAMER

for a video game, utilizing

modern programming

language.

Additionally, teams will

formulate their own game

company and will learn how

to market their game online.

Students will learn to

develop their own idea

Robots, 3D printing,

and lasers oh my!

Learn the concepts of

entrepreneurship while

experimenting with some

exciting new technology,

embracing the maker

culture of engineering-

oriented pursuits.

Date: June 8 - June 26 (3 week commitment)Ages: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13Price: $975 ($325/week)

Provides students with real world experience

of starting and running a business. Students

will brainstorm company ideas, develop

product prototypes, & design their own

website. Students also place their product on

crowd funding websites like Kickstarter, to

potentially fund their project.

Camps run:Monday – Friday9AM – 3PM, WITH EXTENDED CARE Extended Care from 8 am - 4pm We offer an extended care program for anadditional $50/week.

StaffOur staff goes through a thorough background check and screening process. Our staffmembers are professional teachers, childdevelopment specialists, computer scientists,who are experienced working with childrenand love to teach.

ScholarshipsWe believe in camp for all kids. That's why,every year, we work with donors andorganizations throughout the city for funding to provide scholarships to children who need it. Visit venturelab.org/entrepreneurship-scholarships/for the application.

Catered LunchKids can bring their lunch or can sign up for our lunch program for $35/week. We cater all of our lunches to the allergyspecifications indicated at the time ofregistration, and ask all campers to help refrainfrom bringing any allergy inducing foods.
