SANDRA SCHMIRLER FOUNDATION ANNUAL TELETHON

FEBRUARY

2016

February 21, 2016 marked Telethon Day at Revolution Place in Grand Prairie, Alberta. It was another exciting year for the Sandra Schmirler Foundation team, which was able to raise over $300,000 during the telethon in support of life saving newborn intensive care unit equipment thanks to generous donors from across Canada.

As the phone services provider of the travelling telethon, which is held each year in a different Canadian city during the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Versature was proud to be a part of another amazing event.

VERSATURE SECURES OVER 1.1M IN FUNDING FROM TRADITIONAL LENDERS IN NON-TRADITIONAL WAY

CANADIAN TELECOMMUNICATIONS EMPLOYER OF CHOICE

A back to back winner, Versature was proud to be the recipient of the Canadian Telecom Employer of Choice (CTEOC) award for the second year in a row.

The Canadian Telecom Employer of Choice is a national program dedicated to identifying, recognizing, and promoting the best employers in Canada’s telecommunications industry. Versature employees were surveyed on a variety of topics including the role of the leadership team, compensation and benefits, recognition for outstanding contributions, and employee commitment.

VERSATURE PRESIDENT JONATHON MOODY RECEIVES FORTY UNDER 40 AWARD

There was exciting news on the Versature executive team this year as Jonathon Moody not only made the move from Chief Operations Officer to President but took home a prestigious Forty Under 40 award. Jointly organized by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and Ottawa Business Journal, Forty Under 40 awards are one of the most sought-after and distinguished business awards in the national capital region recognizing Ottawa business leaders under the age of 40 who exemplify business achievement, professional expertise, and community involvement

VERSATURE SUPPORT TEAM WINS AT ORCCA AWARDS

It was great to see Versature’s own technical support team members Frank Charlebois and Andre Pelletier get some well deserved recognition at the 13th Annual Ottawa Regional Contact Centre Awards!

Frank took home the Contact Centre Award for Agent Excellence and Andre the Contact Centre Award for Manager Excellence.

October was all about integrations, integrations, integrations here at Versature! THE GRAND CASINO NOVEMBER

2016

Versature was proud to serve as a leading sponsor of The Grand Casino, a new event put on by Welch LLP this year.

Held at the Canadian War Museum, the event brought in over 500 attendees from the Ottawa business community in support of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation’s Back to Work program. Looking forward to seeing what next year has in store from this team of organizers!

YOUTH SERVICES BUREAU SLEEPOUT

DECEMBER

2016

Team Versature was proud to sponsor and participate in the 5th Annual Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa SleepOut for Youth this year. The event, which was held on the field at TD Place in Ottawa, raised $196,000 in support of youth homelessness.

GLOUCESTER EMERGENCY FOOD CUPBOARD

DECEMBER

2016

As the holiday season gets into full swing, Versature is pleased to once again be supporting the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard. Staff are collecting nonperishable food items as well as full turkey dinner to provide to one local family, as well as toys, clothing and gift items to make this holiday a memorable one.
