For two years my wife has been the target of an unprofessional lawyerSarah Connell a.k.a. Sarah Jewell working in the domestic violence unit.Ms. Jewell prosecuted my wife for publishing public records on thewebsite www.GregSlate.tv. The alleged victim Greg Slate had arestraining order against him, and was on probation for a felony hit andrun when he appeared at the domestic violence unit seeking help. Slatehad 40 legal cases, 10 restraining orders and five arrests when he appearedat the domestic violence unit. He added three new restraining orders bynew victims and was on the lam as a fugitive while the Atty. Gen. officedomestic violence unit continued their representation. Though we told theattorney general repeatedly to take a look at this person's records Nobackground check was run and he was given full support by the domesticviolence unit.

There is conclusive evidence that Slate committed more than a dozencrimes while represented by the attorney general. Slate was arrested lastmonth in court for a new string of crimes. The handling of this casesmacks of racism and incompetence. It is my view that no African-American DC resident with an extensive criminal record would've gottenthis sort of treatment by Atty. Gen. staff. I want to know what is behindthis prosecution. The fact that Sarah Connell was exchanging jokes about

my wife's legal matter with my attorney is tangible evidence of her lack ofintegrity. It is therefore important to a legal action we will be pursuing.

In a previous records request the e-mails below were omitted. I would liketo know why. The open records law clearly entitles me to this e-mailexchange and others. I take these matters seriously. I want to know why acareer criminal received this much help from lawyers working for theattorney general. I am again requesting that you supply me with all e-mailssent to my attorney by Sarah Connell a.k.a. Sarah Jewell. I further requestthat you send me all e-mails sent to any of my e-mail accounts by JaneseBechtol.
