COMPETITION ON THE OCCASION OF THE 11th INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CHILDREN’S CREATIVITY

LITERARY COMPETITION:For the best poetry and prose works:“All children’s paths lead from games to freedom” (It is recommended that entries are sent in electronic form; the most successful literary authors will be invited to take part in The 11th International Festival “The Creative Magic”.)

ART COMPETITION:For the best work of art (use painting techniques exclusively)(Artworks can be sent by mail or in electronic form to the FB group “All children’s paths lead from games to freedom”; If you are sending your works in electronic form, please be ready to send them also by mail if you are among shortlisted candidates; The most successful authors will be invited to take part in The 11th International Festival “The Creative Magic”.)

DRAMA COMPETITION:For the best children’s theater play:“All children’s paths lead from games to freedom”(The amateur recordings of theater plays lasting form 8 to 10

minutes should be sent by February 20, 2015. The troups will represent their schools in the competition for the best play of The Festival on April 17 in Mionica.)

MOVIE COMPETITION:For the best children’s short film:(Short films lasting up to 4 minutes whose main theme should be “All children’s paths lead from games to freedom”. The films can be recorded by mobile phone or video camera, Windows Movie Maker can be used; It is recommended that the video is combined with sound, picture, text. All the videos should have the same title “All children’s paths lead from games to freedom”. The participation is individual – one author, one film; The author of the film needs to have a menthor responsible for the authenticity of the film.)

The theme of 11th contest “THE CREATIVE MAGIC” is

“All children’s paths lead from games to freedom”

Who can take part in the contest?This contest is meant for children from 7 to 15 years of age from all over the world.

How to submit the works?Children’s theater plays should be sent in DVD format by mail, until February 20, 2015.Children’s short films should be posted on YouTube not later than February 20, 2015.The literary works should be sent by mail, printed in five copies, until February 20, 2015.

The art works can be sent by mail by February 20, 2015 or posted to the FB group “All children’s paths lead from games to freedom” but the shortlisted candidates will need to send the works also by mail.

Only one piece is allowed per individual participant, and the institutions and organizations can submit 20 works of different authors in arts cathegory and 10 works in the cathegory of literary writing.

What should every submission contain?All the works need to contain the name and address of the author, the teacher’s name, phone number and e-mail address and the school’s e-mail address. The submissions that don’t have all the information required will not be accepted.

The shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in The 11th CREATIVE MAGIC, April 17-18, 2015 when we will announce and award the winners in all cathegories.
