Paul J. Schupf Endowed Chair, History and Humanities The first endowed chair in the history of the college, this chair has allowed me to develop

several learning communities between history and the humanities (particularly literature),

develop an annual public address, and develop strategies for including students of all grade

levels in advanced history education. Awarded in February, 2000; lifetime.

College Archivist: 1996--Present

Responsible for the acquisition, retention, management, and accession of the college

archives collection. Includes some restoration, and development of policies for research and

community use of collections.

Director, Social Sciences Program: Spring 2007—Present.

Conference Director: Wheler Family Conference on World Affairs. Full academic conference with

keynote and breakouts; annual since 2002.
