Grades 11 & 12:

Students are invited to sign up to attend college presentations on-site at WDHS during the school day. Students must sign up through Naviance. Next week's presentations: St. Joseph's University, Montclair University, Farleigh Dickenson University, Manor College, Rowan University, Penn State University.

Riverwinds Community Center is hosting the Career Council College Fair on Thursday, October 25th. Permission slips were distributed in homerooms this week. Interested students should return their permission slips to guidance by next Friday, October 19th. First come, First served!

Grade 12:

RCGC will be here on October 19th to meet with all seniors who are interested in applying or learning more about what our local community college has to offer. Students can sign up in Naviance or contact their guidance counselor if they are interested in participating.

Counselors are busy working with seniors on their college applications. Students and parents are reminded that all transcripts must be requested in Naviance and can NOT be sent unless you have a signed transcript release form on file.

SAT / ACT scores must be sent from the testing agency to each school to which you apply. Students must go to the testing websites to make those arrangements.

Seniors are encouraged to start exploring scholarship opportunities. As we receive scholarship information, we will post it under the scholarship tab in Naviance. Students can then link right to the scholarship applications. Check back frequently as new scholarships are posted frequently!

Any senior who needs help with Naviance, college applications, collegeboard, etc. can utilize the Guidance Dept's Walk-in Wednesday. Our next Walk-in Wednesday will be Oct. 17th during periods 4 through 7.
