A VISION IN A DREAM, A FRAGMENT- THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE : LET ME TALK~ LET WE TALK...

I AM RITUPARNA RAY CHAUDHURI, HERE WITH MY STUDENTS AND THEIR GENERAL VIEWS ON DISCUSSION OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

My endeavours were directed to persons and characters supernatural, or at least romantic; yet so as to transfer from our inward nature a human interest and semblance of truth, sufficient to procure for these shadows of imagination that willing suspension of disbelief for the moment which constitute of poetic faith, is also to what I call Literature. For the purpose, of creating an atmosphere of realism the creature sometimes personifies the Forces of Nature and invests them with human qualities: the Sun, the Moon, the Storm blast have all been personified substrates with things are seen at a distance looks very small and vague. As they come nearer, they look bigger and clearer. What more scientifically accurate description of the phantom ship(as it appears to the Mariner) can there be then in the lines:-FROM THE DESK OF RITUPARNA RAY CHAUDHURI

QUESTIONS ARISES FOR BOTH SCHOLARS AS WELL AS MEDIOCRE STUDENTSSCHOLARSMEDIOCRE

WORD:- Human beings have taken certain noises and give them meanings. People speaking different languages may utter different noise with the same meaning, such as, cat in English; chat in French; Katz in German.

VERBAL POVERTY:- In order to bring one in the limelight, he needs to get a clear pronunciation skill, accent, fluency, free of grammatical errors, clarity in utterances and confidence.However , till date the world is suffering from the verbosity of language and perennial of mispronunciations.

GIFT OF DIVINITY:- The gift of creativity is just like a diamond. It is present in every individuals in different aspects. Ones casket of diamond (i.e., honour of creativity) reflects ones global glory.

Creativity can cure a person of uncertainties. It can brew glory and self confidence in a person, which farther helps to instil self exposure, exposure is the act of unveiling the doubts and pretensions, and it is to embrace the real and ideal identity of a person. We can only gain self exposure when we have been cured of doubts and fearfulness regarding the subject. After having the discussion on the topic among the scholars of different standards, the average result was lack of grip and creativity, inability to converse in fluent English, inefficiency in writing skills.

Certain students marked out their inefficiency in speaking fluent English which comes as a irritation and discouragement to brave the language. Many figured out the paucity in the proper teaching method which results in the unenthusiastic and neglectful attire towards the subject. It is humiliating for many students to come out of their comfort zone and reveal their inability as they are aware of the indifference of educators, inequality among scholars by labelling them as mediocre and brilliant only hampers their courage and psychologically depresses them to ever expose themselves globally.SUBARNA CHAKRABARTY

KUNTAL SARKARTo stress on Writing Skill and Resources, to have a proper group discussion under a proper guidance, with fluency on proper accents to speak on the language, to make students to get free from grammatical fuss are some of also immediate steps, I think to be taken.

POUSHALI GHOSHThe language is not my mother tongue. It is a foreign language. Hence, to get acquaint with the language, I have to stress more on every norm and of the way that to be particularly adopted very soon, I should get myself to expound.

Too much stress on every subject, yet also on regard to the foreign language we want to know the correct way to pronounce a word, to grow self-ability to express ourselves more on the Language so that to write from own some paragraphs or compositions, to read the matter of the Language using proper dialects, and so on alike.
