A DREAM IS COMING TRUE

As founder of YOUTH-LEADER, and after ten years of UNITED NATIONS Decade of Education for

Sustainable Development, I am relieved to see YOUTH LEADERSHIP rise, and excited to see the

vision of connecting humanity's finest role models and model solutions with our global young

generation at school begin to manifest. It is urgently needed on grand scale!

The appreciation of hero/ine role models, social entrepreneurs and positive change media have

changed considerably over the past ten years. Education systems embrace youth leadership, We

Day, action on local and global issues have become part of learning culture in more than ten

thousand schools, led by youth and teachers passionate about positive change.

The solutions and support networks exist. We are going to see beautiful news in these coming

years, while the collapsing civilization will produce ever worse news beyond our worst nightmares.

As teens, our hero/ines are legally required to be accompanied by a chaperone – usually their MOM.

„A double airfare per speaker“ $3,000 can seem a lot, but it pays out, is more than worth it. They are

usually shuttled around domestically in North America at high cost, with accomodation etc. for little

effect but a speech. Our rich 3 day program with world-premieres galore and huge media and interna-

tional quality changemaker network interactions + concerts, college presentations + the retreat and YL

leadership program design workshop for 12 days in total are way beyond anything achieved to-date

and would cost more if organized in North America. On top, the MOMs are their power secretary assis-

tants, they are super precious, indispensable – and eager to experience such a camp retreat, as a

model for YL Summer Camps. It is very worth the investment. THIS IS THE TIME. THANK YOU!
