NETWORK LOGON

User credentials to log onto a computer anywhere in District to access network resources.

Username is lastname.firstname Once logged on you can hit CTRL-ALT-DEL

to change your password if not prompted. Password MUST:

8 characters combo of letters, #’s, and a special character – no dictionary words!

At least one capital Required to change every 6 months KEEP CONFIDENTIAL

EMAIL & CLOUD STORAGE We’ve Gone Google! Google Apps for Education is a free suite

of hosted email & collaboration applications just for schools.

Also can be used outside of the District. On the TUSD website Select “Google Apps”

from Quick links menu or go to www.gmail.com or www.mail.thatcherud.org or www.google.com

EMAIL

Communication is vital so please check it throughout the day (minimize window for easy access).

CLOUD STORAGE

Google Drive is a cloud storage service that allows you to store your documents, photos, videos, and more online. From Drive, you can also use Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other applications to create and edit various types of files. Google Drive and Docs.

Each user has 25 gb of storage on their Drive

NETWORK STORAGE

Network Storage is a sliver of space on a server located here at the District. Space is limited and it is intended for ONLY school data.

Each user has 1 gb of storage on their Z: Drive
